Internationally that may be slightly different though. I’d also maybe include meta for their oculus purchase but I think they’ve tied it into their core, “social” business well enough that I’m not very concerned at the moment when there are bigger fish to fry.
But that is also the case in VR so I’m not sure why one would consider “everything to be in focus” which is what my question is getting at (why do people say that). If I focus on something in VR the objects behind it will also go out of focus. Unlike in cinema where a camera has to choose what is in focus, in VR our eyes choose what to focus on just like in the real world.
Can you explain this to me I’m always confused when people say it. From my thinking at least - I focus on close up and then far away things in VR all the time and it takes effort. The real world is also in focus all the time isn’t it, it’s our eyes that do the focusing.
These companies are in two very different businesses so there is unlikely to even be any “development” - some redditors just noticed they are similar that’s all
Being a cynic isn’t cool, and it is not being objective - the good he does is staring you in the face and you can’t even see it
I don’t know what circles you are in but neither digg nor Reddit are particularly relevant nor ever were at their peak. They’ve always been pretty niche. Reddit hasn’t been relevant since at least 2017 in my circles at least - all communities moved to discord and public discourse has always been on twitter and still is.
Uhhh it’s been a while since I lived in the states but isn’t homelessness much much worse in states dominated by liberals?
It isn't mandated by law in the USA. All water contains some naturally occurring fluoride, some localities choose to add additional fluoride to their water in the USA but certainly not all. I'm pretty sure it is added in something like 60% of city water supplies.
No they will just wait for the timer to tick away and monopolize on a community that someone else spent years building. Just because you change the law in your thought experiment for it to be legal doesn’t make it not exploitative. If we legalize slavery you can’t just say, “well its no longer exploitative, its the law”
