Seems like a good idea. One issue--

What if the investor doesn't immediately respond to the e-mail? Wouldn't that be sort of like the "partial yes" free option from the article, where they could wait until terms are (or are not) more favorable but still have a seemingly valid claim on an initial agreement?

Perhaps there should be a time limit, or the start-up can have the option of sending a second e-mail withdrawing the initial one?

I just have one: unslideshow, a Chrome extension which takes slideshow articles and turns them into single page articles.

https://github.com/jgross206/unslideshow

It's very rough because I'm the only one that uses it. It only works with one site (complex.com) because their slideshows are egregious (100 items with a full page load on each slide) and I got really frustrated one night.

I currently have plans to extend it to other sites and polish up the UI a bit so it's actually worth publishing, but who knows.

I had a lot of fun writing it and learned a lot, it was my first Chrome extension.

Bonus: I left my Ruby POC in the source tree because it was so fun to write. 17 lines!

That seems a bit alarmist. Someone who pays 20$ can have your phone beeping 20 times. That's a lot of money to pay for a mild annoyance.

to expand on jlgreco's point, not only are you now allowed to get off in the back it is strongly encouraged. Advertisements as well as signs on the bus itself tell you to get off in the back, and in my experience everyone does. Even though it's only been a couple months, bus rides are noticeably faster.

You are correct about rush hour busses out of downtown being absolutely packed though. While it can be an unpleasant ride, passengers are very rarely turned away.

I'm curious about the two people who pledged 10,000 to this project. That seems like a pretty ridiculous amount for a game like this, even if you really do believe in the cause.

Maybe the guy has a couple of reallly rich friends?

I've also heard speculation that, if a project is near it's funding goal but looks like it won't quite make it, the people running it might pitch in the rest.

I imagine you don't, but you need a license to use any Apple trademarks, logos, or trade dress in your marketing and packaging.
