I think this shows how truly powerful the network effect, and being first to market is. Because without those things, Bitcoin would be nothing.
That will also tank with significant selling.
A bigger issue to me, would be we don't know how much BTC is lost due to wallets being inaccessible.
I coded up a proof of concept. It's been neglected for a few weeks, but having a partner would definitely be the kick I need to continue working on it.
This is definitely side-project territory. I am not looking at spending more than 10hrs a week on this until and unless it is successfully monetized.
It seems to me that if the goal is to track changes over time, git is very well suited to that.
I don't think users of NordVPN, ExpressVPN, MullvadVPN et al. are as sophisticated as you think.
At best, someone could use it as part of an adversarial process at arriving at the truth, but the author doesn't do that. They take the definition at face value. (A ridiculous definition at that).

Free speech for me, not for thee?
If the money is going towards rent and necessities, its not stimulus, its a life-line.
Assume that the Fed is just printing money... pretty soon, people will get wise that this money is worthless, and use something else. By taxing in the same currency, people need that money, and that creates demand (and hence value).
Taxes are necessary to avoid the devaluation of the currency (this is what inflation is).

As a senior level software engineer, I am passionate about creating quality applications by writing quality code. I have experience with software languages ranging from Elixir, to Haskell, to Java. I believe in writing simple, easy to ready code with a strong emphasis on maintainability. I also have experience in helping junior engineers to grow, and have accomplished this by pair-programming, code reviews, and giving one-on-ones.
