jeff_carron Ask HN: Why doesn't DigitalOcean support custom kernels?

We intend on adding this soon. It's a difficult engineering issue. For now, just open a ticket if we don't have the newest kernel in the drop down menu of available kernels.

Just FYI, I think what you are seeing is normal and arp spoofing is still being blocked. (Open a ticket anyway, We're happy to give people free hosting credits for reporting bugs and security holes.)
