I have been contemplating buying a ReMarkable 2 as I prefer to handwrite everything/annotate/. The price tag is a bit hefty given the cost of an iPad and pencil and the zillion other things it does.
I'm curious if you are indeed going to buy one?
edit: I have about 24,000 tables most with millions of rows. All 24,000 tables are touched at least daily. Often every few seconds.
Ernest Chan has written several books. He also offers live courses. He is one cool dude.

Backtesting your strategies is crucial.

Now, I am 43 (in a few days), and polyphasic sleep has become a bit harder on me. Now, I am averaging between 2.5-3.5 hours each day but the real issue is if I get woken up. Example: a smoke detector goes off in the middle of the night. I can't go back to sleep because I will oversleep now. I am somewhat foggy for several hours after something like this.
Also, the opposite has been happening. I am on HRT and taking estrogen injections. On the day of my injection until about 2 days after I can not sleep. My body just won't allow it. Estrogen dominance has taken over. I am routinely up for 42-46 hours before my body gives in and demands sleep. I sleep 2-3 hours and I am awake. Not feeling replenished as I should and sometimes I feel like I need to be left alone for a long period of time so I don't inadvertently snap at my wife or children.
I'm happy to talk about whatever, AMA.
Yes, we are fairly lightweight and popular outside of China.
We offer Cocos2d-x, a c++/lua based game engine. There isn't a built in GUI editor, but FairyGUI works well.
Also, Cocos Creator, a JavaScript/TypeScript based game development environment. Creator is a complete development tool, GUI tool, etc.
Sure, it could use some features.
Does anyone know how a developer could contribute to the markdown standard and code up some desired markdown features?

These authors are how I started. I'd be happy to list specific books if that is helpful, but I don't want to give you a false sense that if you read books I mention you will have the same understanding that I do.
I looked at every system and decided the fix and coded it up from Delphi, Access, SQL, VB, QBASIC and c++.
It was quite enjoyable and I was enjoying a glass of wine and a steak on the dreaded evening, which was a Friday. Not a single phone call until Monday morning when my boss said take a few days off but pay attention to my pager. I put it in the refridgerator :-)
I'm nice, especially if I am new to the company.
I ask that if something isn't urgent that they send me an e-mail and I'll review it later, often at home in the evening.
I also would be open to a chat during lunch time, but not over a meal. Come to my cube and let's chat while we eat. I'm eating, you can choose not to do so. Eating is the priority, this isn't a hands on show me the code and get my keyboard all grease and food.
If something is urgent and it's my job, by all means come stick your hand in my face.
If something is urgent and it's not my job and you think I can fix it, please come stick your hand in my face but please don't do this often if it turns out you just want any geek at the company.
During the day I don't answer e-mail except for first thing in the morning and during the evening. I don't have notifications on.
Please don't stick a post-it note on my screen! I'm sure I have an inbox or a mailbox someplace you can deposit things in.
All of this being said, I try to be flexible with everyone, over and over, until I have to insist that I get my projects done. I like completing work that makes everyone say "Wow". This means my full attention to details and general awesomeness.
For me if I carry a book with me I’m going to read it. Carrying the weight of the physical books ensures I read it. I don’t want to carry it around for nothing.
I wouldn't change this.
Physical book on specific subject matter tend to be very thorough compared to any content I could find online.
Physical books make me pay attention to it. They are right there in front. No blue light emissions, no notifications.
Physical books cost money. You can never sell them for anything near what you paid. I want every dollars worth our of them.
When someone asks me about a subject, if I own books on them I am happy to part with them and pass them along to that person provided they agree to do the same, if asked one day.
OP, please read more books, on any topic. Your mind, stress, creative spark will thank you.
I also switch to Soma.fm and Di.fm when needed.

Civics wasn’t around when I was in high school but I remember my grandparents and parents had taken something similar.
