j8hn··on YouTube bans coronavirus vaccine misinformation
No, it's not disingenuous.

The surgeon general said in March that masks were not effective for the general public against Covid-19.

The CDC said on March 13, 2020 that there is really no evidence that wearing a mask will reduce your risk for any respiratory infection.

j8hn··on Coronavirus: Some scientists say UK virus strategy is 'risking lives'
Digital tracing also seems to be very helpful in the Korean response. Would you support your government to have a digital database of gps data, credit card transactions, and immigration entry information?
j8hn··on Coronavirus: Some scientists say UK virus strategy is 'risking lives'
I have been wondering about this. If health experts are saying it's inevitable that a large portion of the population is going to be infected with the virus then why not limit isolation to those most at risk.

j8hn··on Towards an inexpensive open-source desktop CT scanner
Why is there such a big difference in patient price between a CT and MRI scan?

My doctor told me to have a CT scan done but I am worried about the radiation. I feel that if an MRI was cheaper, then I would have been prescribed an MRI.

j8hn··on Towards an inexpensive open-source desktop CT scanner
Off topic but what would you recommend for brain imaging, a CT scan or MRI?
j8hn··on MIT Hackathon winners
SilkSpeak sounds like a great idea.
j8hn··on Ask HN: Help me decide between multiple logos.
I'm not sure how to post the logos here. I am also trying to avoid distorting the traffic for the site right now.

You can email at john.lvnv@gmail.com and I will send you the poll.

Thanks!
