Every time I read that the government says they aren’t doing something, I am instantly convinced that they are. Why else would they bother saying they aren’t doing something? “We’re not sharing names with Amtrak.” Never thought you were. But now I do. The government always tells people exactly what they are doing in the form of overt denials.
It’s all about balance. If someone had killed Hitler, would something worse had taken his place? Or, how about in Australia where a fence was constructed to keep dingos out of the south. But dingos are a predator to kangaroos so the kangaroo population increased and now they are overpopulated. Butterfly effect kind of thing.
At this point, they don’t care. Plenty of politicians have had criminal investigations and have had zero consequences. Hell, one man won a reelection while he was in jail. Matt Gaetz is still walking around free even.
I mean you could if you wanted. But why would you want to pay someone to line up interviews for you? Agents don’t get you jobs. They get you visibility.
Use stack overflow like you use Wikipedia. It’s good to check out but you should really be using it for the references. I find the comments tend to point to documentation quite well.
They might have wondered it already. And even asked, “why are we doing this? Seems like a bad idea.” But when the response is a list of reasons that may or may not be good, you just go with it. All of this was done with intention.
Similar to warfarin. It was intended as rat poison. But then someone said “we should use this for blood thinning in humans.” And then no one questioned why doctors were prescribing rat poison because it had the feature that was desired. Saying, no language can prevent a developer from using something when they very much intentionally use it.
