Sama does not need to be concerned with the price of the phone, I was wondering is it because of the smaller form factor or another reason. The article talks about him powering through hundreds of emails a day and Im curious if the SE works for that amount of typing

They need to compete with AWS Lambda / parse next I think. It would be an easy platform for junior javascript dev's to get up and going with a nice looking website that has a backend they can control.

They brought it to this point but my hope is now the new owners can turn it into a more legitimate sport. As an example right now the UFC is setting up a fighter named Dan Henderson to fight for the middle weight title just because its a rematch with the current champ Michael Bisping and is a big money making opportunity for the company. If you look at his record[0] though he's 3-3 in his last 6 fights and is passing people much more deserving of a title shot[1] if the new owners have a more defined system for championship fights it will eliminate the biggest issue I think the UFC currently has.

These new owners are in a position to make buckets of money. There online subscription service FightPass is apparently super popular and I could see a new tier being added they would include the PPV cards for $30 or $40 a month. I hope Joe Rogan stays as a commentator even though he has said he will leave if the company sell's.

So you spin up a Ubuntu instance on your Docker app and do all of you coding and such in there? As sort of a replacement for Vagrent? I may try this out if its overall been a positive experience over dealing with the weird installs the OP is talking about.

With Rails 5 just coming out now does it make sense to just start learning there. Is the material like the "Ruby on Rails Tutorial" book that uses 4.2 still worth reading or is it a large change, something like the python 2.7 to 3 where tutorials and reference material are largely dependent on the software version you use.
