I'm currently working on a web tracker, and it turns out that it is /much/ easier said than done. You have all the problems of making a web app, coupled with all the problems of making a tracker (of which there are many). Plus, you seem to be suggesting a one-stop allgear tracker, which makes it ten times worse, since one doesn't seem to exist even for desktop yet.

And, a shoutout to, IMO, one of the coolest quasi-demoscene places on the internet, http://battleofthebits.org. Without them, I would never have gotten my feet off the ground with coding.

I don't see why happening to have a famous person with your last name means you can't use your last name for a domain. If a) Ira Remsen was still alive and b) I was a food blogger instead of a tech enthusiast, I wouldn't hesitate to buy remsen.com or remsen.food (if i wanted it) just because Ira happened to invent artificial sweeteners.

With that aside, a presidential death, homicide or otherwise, would be extremely jarring to the US population. Ask anyone who was alive when JFK got shot. And plus, if there ever is a major national crisis, we would need a strong leader with a strong mandate, not someone who just stepped in because the one before perished in said crisis.

As someone who happens to be 16 years old, I am incredibly jealous, and can't help but feeling that my experiences with technology and programming in particular are either spoon-fed or diminished in some other manner, and that won't change in the future. Or perhaps it's just differences in perspective and point of view. :)
