What Deleware lets it's 501c3 get away with should be illegial.
There's a reason so many businesss use Deleware as their address.
I'm suprised Biden didn't get more flack over Delaware's history of protecting some raunchy companies.

In and Out burgers is reasonably priced, but not MD.
I knew a lot of people like city life. I didn't. They say you are suspose to habituate to noise. I never did.
These companies hate not having their workers under their thumb, but won't come out and say it.
They know they will never have a hard time attracting workers. The 1 out of a thousand Rockstar might be another conversation, but the run of the mill worker--no problem.
They know they will be able to do whatever they want for years. I imagine Zuck, and the Google Boys, thanking their god, the dollar, they don't live in China.
(Xi is cracking down on certain big businesses. He, and his mates, don't like the extreme wealth disparity rearing it's head. He doesn't like companies that seem to exploit people. He doesn't like the fact that houses are rising in price so quickly, only the wealthy, and companies that buy up realestate, can afford them.
Xi is worried about the amount of credit certain businesses are taking on. I heard business debt is almost 3x ours. Business leverage that is, not governmental debt. This couldn't be right?
Xi is worried his unchecked Capitalistic experiment might come crashing down.)
Ok, back to employers salivating for the day they can demand everyone show up.
I've thought about it, and don't see an out. They will drag everyone back in. It doesn't matter if the tech works.
Maybe if we started using Global Warming as an excuse to not came back? All those extra cars on the roads couldn't be good.
(Sorry about bringing China in to the mix. I'm a tiny bit jealous just how quick they can move there. I liked city life when they were diverse, and then only for awhile. In all honesty, the only thing about city life I liked was the ratio of single women to men. I said it.)
Charge large companies fees to use use their large delivery vechicles on any road.
Those fees, and taxes, could build more bike paths, and repair streets.
(I would like to see governments charging large companies to use our infrastructure. Only charge the large companies. They are the ones abusing the privilege usually.)
I used it to get me to high school. I was always sick that winter though. I had money for the bike, but not the gear.
CA had a insurance policy of requiring insurance, but not demanding it at DMV. Cops couldn't ask to see proof of insurance for any reason. It was all civil if their was an incident.
We at .com are delivering medicines to poor people in this unfortunate country that has no infrastructure. (baby crying, dog being kicked away from table with flies on the food, and sad music playing)
Disclaimer: This was done one time for advertising purposes, and is not indicative of how our whirlybirds will be used.
(Off topic, but here goes. You know those drug commercials that state if you can't afford the medications, we a Whizzerbio will help out with costs because we are there for Everyone.
This is how it worked when I looked into it. You, and your doctor have to fill out a bunch of forms.
The meds are only sent to the doctors office. So you will need to go there to pick the medication up, and I imagine setting up another appointment. I have no idea why they don't deliver to the patient, or reimburse the pharmacy. I imagine they want it delivered to the office so the pharmaceutical rep can have a real reason to talk with doc?
Only one patient per doctor are allowed to participate in this promotion. Doc has 1000 patients, but only one poor guy gets the free med.
I looked into this ten years ago, so things might have changed?
I have gotten these before, but not produced this way. The ones I got looked like they were written by an underpaid employee.
They have had signature machines for years though. The Kennedy's used them a lot.
The only thing I would experiment with this project is adding significant error, and randomness to the writing. It would look more realistic?
On a personal note, when I get these (Anderson Painting likes this approach.); I throw away the ad away immediately, or if printed on good stock paper--I save to pick up dust.
If you remodel, you are suspose to have your property reassessed.
I still don't understand why you needed this autograph pencil?
I wonder who's going to provide it.
Being male, I don't know if I would even venture into the area. I couldn't imagine being interrogated by parents, and the whole vetting process. And yes--it might make more sence for a woman to open up a child care facility? The list of government regulation must get onerious too?
Where are we going to find all these babysitters?
Second--the money will come on the form of a federal tax credit. Why do I feel that money will end up going to other things a young family needs?
At this point, I'd rather see a Basic Income that goes to all low income Americans. They could use the money for anything.
The typical consumer doesn't like paying $290.00 plus hr., the minute the warranty ends. I hope they don't like being fleeced? I see them sipping Starbucks in the lounge, and wonder sometimes.
You don't even a vocational degree to do those either.
You start working be it a union, or non-union, and take a test later on if you want a license. (In California)
No college, but a great resume, and a natural seller.
The guys running the business didn't realize the fashion potential of their shoes.
They told her whatever you sell; we will give you a healthy percentage.
All the salesmen were guys in their 50's.
By year three, she was making $600,000/yr.
When they realized their utilitarian product was now a fashion statement, they let her go. She went on to make more money though doing her own line of shoes in America.
Stuff can still be made here, but the profits won't be as high.
On Nike's side, I see it at pure greed.
For what they charge, they could pay an American Worker $40/hr, plus medical? (Yes--I pulled that $40 out my arse.)
My sister has two shoe stores in LA. She made everything here prior to Covid.
She paid her employees $10/hr, and offered zero benefits.
Pre-covid she was a multimillionaire.
(To anyone selling a craft, don't skimp on stuff people throw away, like bags, tissue, fancy price tags. It's about branding. Oh yea, sometimes the higher the price--the more they want it. My sister is a cutthroat businesswoman. I always knew she would be wealthy. She's not a great person though.)
Japan is very afraid of China, along with the USA.
(China must be afraid of the USA. They are afraid there might be a incident before they equal us militarily? And it looks like they are closing in.)
There is no need for the amount of law enforcement I have in my county of Marin.
They would then have more time to put GPS's on vechicles, and less time for Revenue Collection.
I knew it would be a while until I could afford one.
I still remember the first the first one I saw.
There are a few things I would like them to do:
1. No more stupid mistakes, like that Free for All Covid fiasco. (Don't blatantly irritate copywrite owners.)
2. Offer all their material (non copy written) to anyone in the USA. Let anyone house the data if they want.
3. Put all salaries, and assets, on your front page, or very easily found.
I looked up their administrative salaries (CEO, BOD, etc.) a few years ago on Waystar (back then--salaries of founders seemed reasonable.)
The founder was using the nonprofit CC for questionable purchases, but I don't even think he is around anymore. Oh yea, when looking up 1040's on Waystar it's free information, but the website makes it look like you need to pay for free government information, or used too? There are many websites that offer free 1040's now though.)
I would like to see every 501c3 in the USA list the highest salaries of everyone in the charity, the number of volunteers, and the average pay of paid employees.
I see way to many people blindly giving money to charities.
Many are great like this nonprofit, but so many are overfunded, or just set up to support one, or two people.
In my county, many nonprofits are considered just a business move with a sympathetic name. Too many are run by a husband, and wife, and are just a way to live a comfortable life.
Every year it seems to be getting worse.
Obama knew what was going on in a lot of 501c3's, and was about to take action, but backed away. I don't know why, but he took it off his agenda very quickly.
If 14 months ago, they were building them for $450,000, I'd wait.
I'd shop around for another contractor too. A young guy starting out, might save you a lot. (There's no way to verify he knows what he's doing though.)
If you are some what handy, it's not that difficult to owner build your own house. That is if you get the blueprints past the town's council. Getting approvals is the tough part.
If you get all the town, county, approvals, and have a very buildable lot (flat, no flooding, etc.). Once the foundation is poured, it step by step, and done.
(If you decide to build yourself, don't make any changes. Don't build a custom house either. A simple home will make the process go smoothly. Realize too, the General Contractor just hires licensed subs, and takes a healthy cut off your nut. Then again--if you have never done construction yourself, disregard everything I said. I just pictured a typical computer developer in a wet lot, with an unhappy wife. Muttering to Google translate to communicate with the unlicensed, unbonded, subcontractor.)
They have one requirement besides a GED, and it BDS (big, dumb, stupid).
They are known for doing stupid stuff around the country.
I grew up with the guy who runs the Coroner's a office, and literally thought he was developmentally disabled.
(CA decided to nix voted in Coroners a few years ago, and replaced all with cops to save money. A Coroner is an executive position. Needs no training. In Marin County, we had a great Coroner, who was a medical doctor, for years.)
I used to love to write. That all ended in college, with English Instructors. I wasen't the only student either.
There was so much emphasis on grammar, interesting writers just seemed to sound all alike. I enjoyed some of the papers that were read aloud the first few weeks. By the end of the courses, the papers were technically correct, but boring, and lacked imagination. I could see the enthusiasm drain from the students faces with every paper covered in red Sharpie corrections.
I had one teacher that used to down grade me for not writing out numbers 1-10, and only using numbers for 11 on. I still don't know what's right, or care anymore.
(I believe S & W recommends writing out 1-10.)
Most of us knew something wasen't right, but were afraid to ask the hard questions. I don't belive it was do to gender. Plus it was the whole fake it till you make it cool kids time.
That black turtleneck borrowed from Jobs. That was the only thing that tipped me off at first. And no, I was not going comment on her looks. Was it because she was female? I don't know? I just knew it was a tell. (I didn't know anything about her, or her company. I just saw a person acting a part.)
The rest of her story didn't make much sense, but so many Silicon Valley companies don't make sense. She just jumped on the band wagon.
A years worth of chem at college. (I don't know for sure.)
Rediculious claims about hematology.
A generation of tech folks fawning over Zuckerburg. It was the "Everything is possible with youth, hard work, white, comming from wealth".
Investors were salivating over another Zuck.
If she is found innocent, or guilty, I don't think it will affect women entrepreneurs.
She is blaming everyone, but that's what the wealthy do when in a bind. It's never their fault. Always the victim.
She was an aberration. We were the fools.
I believe she dodged some hard questions because of her gender, but so many wealthy semi-attractive male/female entrepreneurs seem to skate through life without getting asked the hard questions, until it's too late.
I do find it disconcerting that kids (male, or female) from wealthy families get so many passes in life.
Then you know that a mask is the least we can ask of parents.
Children are germ factories. What compounds the problem is they can't be vaccinated.
In CA, we opened the schools.
In two weeks, I have a feeling we will be in trouble.
Kids get virus. Some people show no symptoms, but are little viruse spreaders.
It's a pretty simple equation. Kids spread viruses very easily.
So put a mask on it.
Not for your kids sake, but for grandma's sake, and others.
(Personally, I would have kept the kids out of school for another year. Every kid would be able to stay in school two extra years, if needed. So instead of graduating at 18, some kids would be applying to college, or Amazon, at 20.)
