Except in aviation trained pilots with at least a decade of experience flying planes get to use it, understanding well the limitations and purpose of the technology. A teenager can use Tesla's "Autopilot".
Hence why we need a new logo to attract developers from other demographics. A good language without a diverse and wide set of users is worthless.
It doesn't function like an autopilot and requires no co-pilot. Taking a technical term used in aviation is meaningless and dangerous.
Having 2 billion users is not a 1000x better than having 2 million ones. It's more like a million times. The network effect compounds non-linearly.
Facebook (the company) is here to stay. Even if the product is gone, they own 2 other multibillion dollar social networks: Instagram and WhatsApp.
All of the great services and products we use today came from extreme risk taking, it's the corner stone of entrepreneurship.
