hajola··on Airbnb Plans to File Confidentially for IPO in August
Why do you assume that? Are there any papers/data available on the subject?

I have met quite a few digital nomads, who do just that.

Is the new aircraft supposed to emerge from the Yellowstone project (Y1)?

> They are technologically quite substantially in arrears to Airbus

Could you expand on that?

hajola··on Show HN: One Click Feedback - Simple surveys for email newsletters
I started my own weekly newsletter some months ago. As I was iterating on the newsletter, changing structure, content, design, etc... I felt a lack of feedback from the readers. I encouraged emailing me back, filling a minimal survey, etc. Nevertheless, rates of feedback were extremely low. I did notice that most people who opened my survey, even if it was barebones, did not submit it. I reasoned that any feedback is better than no feedback and a lot of readers are glad to voice their opinion IF it just takes a moment. So I made One Click Feedback.

Although the sample size for my newsletter is small (n≈35 responders), I have noticed that readers from North-America tend to give more positive feedback than the European counterparts. Using more emojis and positive words seems to increase the feedback rate and the average sentiment of the feedback (same content, except that one had a few extra adjectives and positive emojis). I have also seen a bump in CTR and open rates. It might be that readers are curious if their feedback changes something (I think that is unlikely as the feedback is so minimal) or that some bias is in play. (NB I am working with a very small amount of data and these are just my speculations)

hajola··on Show HN: My Morning Routine – Share and Explore Routines
The app also allows "playing" and logging your routine, as the phone is more accessible for most, I thought that to be a better medium. Additionally, I wanted to test out flutter. Might add a web version in the future.

EDIT: Thanks for the feedback. I agree with the criticism as a user. It was haste on my part as a maker. I made a quick fix now, by adding screenshots. Hopefully, they will give enough information for a test drive of the app.

hajola··on Show HN: My Morning Routine – Share and Explore Routines
Thanks! I plan to add analytics with the next update. Including showing how much "ahead" of your previous selves you are today. I am having trouble deciding whether I should compare to average, best or yesterday. I am also thinking if there is a fun way to make it competitive between users.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

hajola··on Show HN: My Morning Routine – Share and Explore Routines
It allows you to form a routine. A routine consists of a name and a number of activities. Each activity has a name, a duration and an order(1st,2nd, 3rd..). Routines can be public or private. If public, others can see and "play" that routine. Think of playing a routine like playing a playlist, instead of songs there are activities. I kept seeing people sharing their morning routines on reddit, medium, youtube, etc. The idea was to have a platform where people can create and share their routines.
hajola··on Show HN: Cup Of Startups - Promising and innovative early-stage startups
Hopefully, I don't violate Show HN rules. This week's edition will be sent to your email once signed up. I hope that will provide enough value to the community so that a discussion of sorts would be possible.

hajola··on Show HN: An Exploding To-Do List
Tried it out. Found it confusing to add items to the list, kept on "canceling the mission". Perhaps see if others have the same ux problem.
hajola··on GM fungus can rapidly kill mosquitoes that spread malaria, study suggests
Those animals now not dying, might cause further ecological damage. Ecosystems tend to have a rather delicate balance and viruses play their part.
