Telegram has its own faults and issues, but the native Windows app is incredibly good and fast.
Tested isos: Windows 10 x64 (Pro, LTSC), Windows 11 (Pro, LTSC). I've installed windows on hundreds of computers with Ventoy and it never failed me.
I got mine in my 30's too. The first week I thought I was going crazy, and this was the end of my life. I was shocked, I couldn't go to work for a whole week.
I then saw a doctor who said to me: "Man, I've got tinnitus since 20 years and I barely hear it anymore. The more you accept it, the more it'll fade."
A decade later, my own experience is exactly this. I accepted it as one of the body malfunctions that comes with age for everybody. I barely hear it anymore except in extremely low noise situations and it doesn't bother me at all.
I wish you well.
This is probably linked, I still don't understand how this is possible...
The cookie theft is also IMHO the most probable scenario. The malicious extension is the only thing that make sense to me.
log out all devices: done
rotate password and 2FA: done
switch to a hardware key/WebAuthn: not done yet
audit browser extensions: done (I'm using only what I think are very "secure" ones: Bypass Paywalls Clean, Control Panel for Twitter , Correcteur d'orthographe et reformulateur — LanguageTool , Google Images Restored, I still don't care about cookies, Keepa - Amazon Price Tracker, Reddit Enhancement Suite, SingleFile , uBlock Origin , Voir image (https://github.com/bijij/ViewImage)
scan the box: done
revoke any third‑party app access tied to Reddit: there are none
Anyhow, thank again!
This is the only thing that makes sense to me from a technical point of view.
The only thing I do not understand is why? What's the point of deleting this account? Who is benefiting from this? I don't get it...
No, nothing about a human intervention/automation was mentioned.
However, I set my feed up on the web app, seeing that it should sync on "all my devices".
Next, I installed the Android app, and mybe I missed something, but I don't see any way to connect to my Kagi account.
So much for syncing...
Also, Châtelet les Halles is available just after 'Château d'eau".
Still, I've been using computers for 30 years and I'm starting to feel the itch to look for Linux alternatives and I'm pretty old. Change does do not comes easily to old people. This is bad for ms.
