Except they weren't talking about available facts to be examined, and their conclusions. What they were doing was presenting a falsehood as a new fact. Without any evidence.
It's one thing to say "because of x,yz, we think they have WMDs".
What they did was: "THEY HAVE WMDs!!!" (evidence to be examined will be provided soon, promise)
This is a false analogy. Skype isn't limited to idle chatting and you can also attach PDFs or images into a skype chat. And you can also screen share on Skype so any paint program would double as a whiteboard.
I suspect the use case for Understudy is much better served with Understudy than Skype, but the way the comparison is presented on the site doesn't really help, and may be interpreted as completely disingenuous.
If he disappears, suddenly my backups aren't available, AND my drive blows up, all at the same time, then I'll be sorry I guess.
But without g2g, Colin is going to be competing in a huge market with a bunch of other players. He's also likely to enjoy his business a whole lot less.
It's only about 2MB per day to upload. I have a daily cron that does the backup and deletes all but the latest two images.
Quality of service, along with Colin's amazing pricing, make it an easy win for me. I never feel like I need to stop and waste time thinking about other options.
Assuming of course that you don't buy bread with sugar in it.
"Although the Glycemic Index provides some insights into the relative diabetic risk within specific food groups, it contains many counter-intuitive ratings. These include suggestions that bread generally has a higher glycemic ranking than sugar and that some potatoes are more glycemic than glucose." - Wikipedia
I think most of us know that sugar cereals are bad, sunnyd is fake and disgusting, and soda is poison. The problem is we just don't care. At least that's what it looks like. When you see an obese child whose parents are also obese and they're all happily consuming their favorite poisonous snack do you see that as an educational challenge? I see it more as a discipline problem.
More specifically, Brendan has publicly indicated that he intends to actively pursue equality throughout the organization[1].
So people seem to be calling him a liar with no evidence. And they're also bullying him solely based on his beliefs, rather than his actions.
