gonnakillme··on Mailgun: new pricing without plans and limits
Sending /1000/ emails is almost as much as letter postage.
gonnakillme··on Why functional programming? Why Haskell?
You can write the example in your third problem as "readConfigData >>= openDbConnection". This is, in fact, something like what your code desugars to. "do" notation is a useful crutch for difficult code; it's not fair to use that as an example of "verbose syntax".
gonnakillme··on Petition to the European Union ("Citizen initiative") for Basic Income
Might want to look again -- this isn't about a higher minimum wage, this is about an unconditional basic income.

(That being said, the link doesn't have a lot of context.)

gonnakillme··on New Microsoft Windows chief 'shocked' by Sinofsky defenestration
huh? "defenestration" isn't a latin word, it's an english word derived from the latin.
gonnakillme··on Introducing the Humble Indie Bundle 6
They pretty reliably give the previous bundle for free if you pay more than the average for the current bundle, but don't bet on it.
gonnakillme··on The WorldWideWeb application is now available as an alpha release (1991)
wow. Does anyone know where one could get that tarball?
gonnakillme··on VoiceBunny: Fast and professional voiceovers (with an API).
Is anyone else reminded of The Diamond Age?
gonnakillme··on Vinegar - refined Vigenère - can you break my cipher?
A big problem with these types of ciphers is that you need to transmit the key somehow. If you have had no previous encrypted contact with the intended receiver, you have to get the key to that person in plaintext. This is why public key cryptography was invented.

As a side note, isn't this just a less secure Enigma cipher? Alan Turing would have your u-boats for dinner.
