I quote:
> There is not length property inserted on the object, the jQuery folks had already confirmed that. It is a branch on the form of object that was failing due to a bug in the linkage of a jump. That made that bug very bizarre: you can access a length value by identifier, but now get a length property on the same object.
Does not seem serious, security-wise.
My 2 cents: I actually prefer the declarative approach. My attempts at imperative view generation resulted in far more shooting-on-the-foot. Naturally, this is the very specific conclusions of me and my team, not the entire human race. I always think you should try both!
Also, I'm a huge fan of Polymer, which is also very much declarative. Going to use Angular instead of Polymer simply because of better project structure and browser support.
I can't stand how some articles simply s&*t on years of software architecture principles and the work of very talented engineers and simply dismisses them like it's nothing.
If you disagree with a framework's perspective, AT LEAST be respectful.
BTW, I also have used Angular for 2 years and, given the pros and cons and existing alternatives, I will choose it again for my next big project. The structure is simply too solid. This is invaluable when you have a large team that must work together.
It was, of all the above mentioned, the first to give me a fluid desktop performance with decent aesthetics and all functionality I have grown accostumed to. I'm particularly fond of:
* Alt + drag work really well, specially dragging into borders with automatic resize. The lack of this feature in MATE was a daily pain for me.
* Login screen actually has useful information (even HipChat notifications!) and is really accessible - it opens up whether I scroll or simply start typing my password.
* The search box is, for a change (from Unity), actually smart. When I say "home", it knows precisely what I mean.
* All my tools work perfectly. IntelliJ WebStorm, HipChat, Chrome, the terminal... Even Spotify Linux Preview works like a charm.
I have had TWO minor hiccups:
* Bluetooth needed some extra modules installed. After that, everything worked fine.
* Workspaces would not behave appropriately with external monitor. One command solved that.
So, for now, Ubuntu Gnome is definitely my distro of choice.

Dealing with irrationality is one of the most frustating feelings out there. You will get very tired sometimes. You will get overwhelmed. Nevermind. They are having the worst of it.
Keep going. You owe it to them to comfort them, no matter how many times. Remember two things: It's not their fault, and it will get better.
Didn't know that about the new ES6 functions. I'll check it out.
Yes, named functions do improve debugging... But I guess it's worth the trade. I have come across very confusing code thanks to named functions.
As of myself, I am currently trying to educate myself into dividing my time better between my "day job" and my product. Hard to do, though, when your day job absolutely rocks... It's very easy to work all day long without realizing you should have stopped in the middle of the afternoon. Not a bad problem to have, mind you.
I find this rather disturbing.
About Fedora, I have fiddled with it in my Linux-discovery days (not that I'm any kind of pro! on the contrary) and found it to be rather OK, but right now I dont want to waste any time getting to know a different structure, different package manager, etc etc. That takes time and I'd like to focus on some important objectives on 2014.
Thanks for the tip though! (And for the read! Very excited for being noticed on the big orange ocean.)
It was kinda abondoned, though.
