fzfaa··on AirTag leads to arrest of airline worker accused of stealing from luggage
Which is why it should be opt-in.
fzfaa··on Edible insects role in transmission of parasitic diseases to humans (2019)
Actually yes, free commercial transactions between individuals should be a human right.

But don't worry about it, they will also make life hard or impossible for small livestock owners. So you won't be able to raise your own or buy from your neighbour.

1) Because I don't want to, and 2) because my enemies want me to.

I assume that you are talking about a third world country. Will people keep eating bugs once they become wealthy enough?
fzfaa··on Saudi Arabia sentenced a woman to 34 years in prison for tweeting
A 10 week jail sentence for a racist video making fun of a terrible tragedy bothers me a whole lot.
fzfaa··on VPNs on iOS are a scam
So it's a VPN but it doesn't do anything that you expect from a VPN? It doesn't let me access devices in a LAN, it doesn't hide my IP, it doesn't change my country... then what is Warp good for?
fzfaa··on VPNs on iOS are a scam
Wow, that is really shady.
fzfaa··on VPNs on iOS are a scam
I remember recently using Cloudflare Warp and using one of those webpages that tell you your IP address and it showed my real IP address. It was a bit weird.
fzfaa··on Is El Salvador Up?
Historically bitcoin has gone up and down in cycles. There is no reason to think it won't come up again. But I may be wrong as I know very little about crypto.
fzfaa··on Is El Salvador Up?
This looks bad, but I assume that with time the price will recover. I mean, bitcoin will eventually reach the point where it doesn't recover ever again, but that point hasn't necessarily been reached yet.
fzfaa··on Steve Teixeira, Mozilla’s New Chief Product Officer
I don't have the answer to either question, I'm afraid.
fzfaa··on Steve Teixeira, Mozilla’s New Chief Product Officer
Is he of Spanish or Portuguese descent? Sounds like a Galician last name but I'm not sure.
fzfaa··on NAT still exists for IPv6
For your privacy you should be thankful that they do not provide a stable prefix.
fzfaa··on Tell HN: Godaddy canceled my domain, gave me 2h to respond, then charged €150

Easier to bypass bans.
fzfaa··on Mexican Loan Apps, Extortion, and the Google Play Store
Why should they blanket ban loan apps?
fzfaa··on Mexican Loan Apps, Extortion, and the Google Play Store
What calls my attention of this story is that employees of that app would go through the trouble of creating a credible shopped image of her and sending it to all of her contacts. Do they have almost no clients, was the loan particularly big, do they have loads of employees just to do this...?
fzfaa··on Windows 11 x64 security hardening guide
I didn't know anybody saw MOTW as a positive. I hate it and I don't see what problem it solves.
fzfaa··on Meatless meat is nothing new
I can't help but wonder if it's some evil organisation like the UN or the WEF subsidising these sections... or even blackmailing supermarkets to have them.
fzfaa··on Animal melting pot created by climate change could lead to new disease outbreaks
But the men if they are not homosexual must be having sex with women, right? Have you seen the proportions? Because this is not a 2:1 kind of thing.

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/...

Your theory is that a few select women are massive whores?

fzfaa··on Animal melting pot created by climate change could lead to new disease outbreaks
>I think the men/women disparity is not really due to homosexuality but because due to societal views. A man who is promiscuous is viewed a as a 'cool go-getter'. A promiscuous woman is viewed as a 'slut' (Note: I don't agree with that!!). So it's just more common in men at first.

So women are immune? This theory makes no sense.

fzfaa··on Animal melting pot created by climate change could lead to new disease outbreaks
And yet if you look at the number of cases separated by sexes, it paints a whole different picture.
fzfaa··on New Intel chips won't play Blu-ray disks due to SGX deprecation
> >Build me a doorknob that shocks people.

> Correct answer: No, that is dumb.

Dude, calm down. It's just DRM for movies.

> Otherwise it's like if you run P2P nodes and claim pedo pictures aren't your problem.

If the network is completely p2p, they really aren't.

OTOH, it seems foolish to develop/run a p2p network and publish your real name along with it. It's asking for trouble.

fzfaa··on Windows10Debloater: Script to remove Windows 10 bloatware (2021)
Believe me, you simply do not remember how fast XP was. Install it in a VM and see for yourself.
fzfaa··on Correcting the Record on Meta’s Involvement in Nebraska Case
The problem is not what people read, but what they do not read - journalists have an axe to grind against Facebook, so they write titles that make it sound like Facebook willingly gave the data to the police, and most people don't go beyond reading the title.
