His big advice was to build content with the intent of getting email addresses. The email address is the gateway to the real sales avenue.
Everyone uses this pattern. You see it everywhere.
You've got to balance so many factors to commercially release a battery: safety, durability, reliability, weight, energy density, cost. You can build cheap batteries, they just have some terrible characteristics.
Means expensive chemistry.
>targeting aircraft first
Means expensive chemistry
>no mention of durability
If they were highly durable this would be an important feature so they're likely not.
Sounds like these are going to be expensive special application batteries.
It's almost as if they want an excuse for running a massive military.
Siting a gasoline station is highly strategic. They know exactly where to put them and how much to charge on the real estate and vendor sides.
Russia is a major player in the oil world. It has the relationships and experience to manage this.
If they were too harsh with slaves they'd spend a lot more time and energy managing their behavior. Even in prison privileges are given so they can be taken away. Slave owners probably treated their slaves well enough, in aggregate, that they were capable to work productively and did not have immediate cause for revolt. The slave owners had to live in close proximity to their slaves after all.
The Hollywood portrayals of slavery as essentially unrelenting cruelty and sadism don't make sense, except for on TV. Any farmer would have known that you don't get the best work out of your horses or mules by abusing and starving them. There's a knee point of optimal treatment for all labor arrangements. The EVIL fact that slaves were property of their masters does not change this.
Simply on the basis of accomplishments, whether for good or bad, the founders rank amongst the greatest people to ever exist.
With a normal European Winter NATO would have fallen apart as the EU cracked on the Russian energy sanctions to warm themselves, and the Russian army would have had massively increased mobility options with frozen ground in the Ukraine.
Weather is a huge factor in warfare and the economy. If it could be manipulated to put an enemy in a bad position that would be a powerful weapon indeed, best yet it would be one with plausible deniability.
Do you really think Russia can't afford to insure oil tankers if the West refuses to do it?
There are hundreds of patents for weather modification techniques, many filed recently.
The unusually warm Winter in Ukraine has hurt the Russian war effort, and protected Europe from economic devastation.
The timing was quite fortuitous.
2) Migrant labor is the replacement for slave labor in the USA. These are workers who do not legally exist and thus are subject to the worst of exploitations by employers and criminal concerns.
3) Human beings of all races have a pretty bad record of how they may treat other races/tribes/outgroups. Genghis Kahn killed and raped so many people that he altered the genetic profile of humans. African tribes routinely enslaved each other. Arabs took white slaves. People can be dicks. The list goes on and on: cruelty is a part of the universal human condition.
As bad as the USA, it's the only country to go to civil war to free slaves of another race, even if that wasn't the complete reason for the Civil war.
Modern capitalists prefer seasonal labor for agriculture. They don't have to feed/clothe/house people year round, and have no personal investment. Seasonal migrant agriculture labor cheap and easily exploited, with little legal protection. Slaves, like domestic a nimals (reprehensible as that simily is), must be treated well enough to keep working productively. There is no such need with migrant labor. If they are abused or killed it is easy to sweep under the rug. There'll be new migrants available next year.
NOTE: I'm not saying slavery is good, or even better than migrant labor. They are both highly unethical if you consider how corporations treat migrant labor today.
Given how difficult it is to predict policy outcomes this is probably a good idea. Even if a collection of policies are good on the individual level there is no way to figure out if the interaction will be net positive, nor if the cost of remedy reverses the calculus.
Run your sensitive or expensive bulk resources like dbs onprem and go cloud for the rest. You can often save big just bringing your db onsite.
That they've managed this in the face of rampant anti-Asian discrimination in the US is all the more to their credit.

It takes intelligence and discipline to build wealth and if your parents have it they may pass that on to you. Sometimes that doesn't make you wealthy but they are still good things to inherit from your parents.
Those panels are maybe generating 0.1 kwh in the top quartile of exposure, and have a battery over 50 Kwh in capacity.
On an amazing day you may charge a single kwh. That's a 2% increase at best.
Every single naive person asks why they can't put a solar panel on a car and get rid of gasoline. They don't understand the surface to output relationship of solar power. This is mainly a marketing gimmick. Ideally those panels could be optimally placed and generate their full potential. Using them so inefficiently is a waste.
My friends teenage children openly voice anxiety about climate change. I'm completely unsurprised that a kid might kill themselves over it. It's a big load for.a developing mind and body.
It's not the young who should be brought to dread and guilt over climate change, it's the old. Why? Because they can actually do something. They have the money and the power and the ability, not the young.
It's is completely unfair to dump thus so hard on children, also either very stupid or evil.
They've been telling me the world was going to end soon since I was young. I was taught in college in the 80's that the earth was going to be in climate catastrophe by 2000 (and also that there was going to be no oil.)
I believe in science, just hear me out.
All these big predictions are based on n=0 actual data. We have scientific evidence of climate change in the past, yes, but it's all generated from models that came thousands of years later. Scientists didn't actually get to witness and record the event as it happened.
We don't know how long it will take climate change to hit and how bad it will be. We don't know how much is exactly anthromorphic and how much is exogenous.
Based on this uncertainty it's really shitty to teach children that they're not going to have a future because the climate is going to crush us all. But even if it were true, how fucked up is it to tell a child their life is hopelessly doomed when there is nothing they can do? Why not let the child obliviously enjoy a pretty fun part of life?
Cordless is more convenient but way more expensive when you add in batteries, especially for power intensive tools like grinders.
BTC/crypto is a natural alternative to USD settlement. If you believe the USD is sunsetting as the global reserve currency then crypto, especially btc is probably a good long term investment.
