It's frustrating that when something like this happens, people tend to blame the drone, not the pilot. When someone gets drunk and crashes their car, nobody blames the car.
I hope they find this guy and make an example of him.
Are you suggesting that the economy of scale has reached a point where the smartphone would be more cost-effective even with those features?
I would not add advertisements as you will risk damaging the good relationship you currently have with your users. Try adding a donation button and just see whether it brings in enough money. Adding support for other social networks also seems like a good idea, but a lot more work.

For analytics we use Clicky and it's decent. There's a 3rd party Chrome extension which is useful for seeing, at a glance, how many people are on our site.
Another big value prop is integrations with services like Slack.
Then I think you might have missed the context of this discussion. The parent comments were talking about the fact that sex sells. Motor racing, especially, has a long tradition of employing sexy female models in marketing. Do a Google search of "Formula One promo girls" to see what I'm talking about. And several of our users have suggested putting "babes" on the site.
Having said that, I'm not comfortable with it. Which is why it's a dilemma.
