foobarkey··on Software Design Principles I Learned the Hard Way
I will join you on that hill, just make a pureish function/method that does the thing its supposed to do and job done. Although in 10% of cases OOP and inheritance is useful

+1000 to PRY, if something needs to possibly evolve separately dont force it into some shared abstraction, I think DRY probably causes the most bad code but we still keep doing it.

Agree with mocks also, currently not even using them, just go with integration tests and set db back to known state between every test run, oh and wiremock for rest

foobarkey··on Three women contract HIV from dirty "vampire facials" at unlicensed spa
It’s not societal pressure women do it do themselves. If a woman looks hot people will try please them for no reason and once they start losing that they cant handle being in a social status of nobody cares/irrelevant

Edit: hmm maybe that is societal pressure in a way

foobarkey··on Few stations and $200 to fill up: Life on California's 'hydrogen highway'
Ok so the plan is to ignore actually feasible options to make transport carbon neutral and light dollars on fire researching hydrogen to maybe make nitrogen?
foobarkey··on Few stations and $200 to fill up: Life on California's 'hydrogen highway'
Why are we still discussing hydrogen if methane is a solved problem? (CNG/LPG). My car gets full tank for about 20 EUR and drives 400km. Creating green methane out of bio sources or from CO2 is pretty ok too given solar/wind as energy source. Transportation is not an issue , leaking through solid containers is not an issue. Why choose hard mode and try to build out hydrogen?
