fireant··on SPAs Were a Mistake
Having worked with ASP.NET and other templating engines way back when and now working with React, I can say that there is a world of difference between the ease of composability of ASP.NET templates and React components.

People really want composability and sometimes they need a tiny bit more interactivity than their server rendered stack offers without hacks (even if it's just more interactive forms)

fireant··on AWS's Egregious Egress
The link you have submitted is about Workers however, which is a Cloudflare's function-as-a-service solution. I could not find egress pricing for general bandwidth that does not go through Workers last time I tried. Could you please point me to a document that says CF general egress pricing is $0.045 now?

The problem I think is that JWT is just a small puzzle piece of a great artwork that is identity and auth. It is overly complex (not without reason) and people don't put in enough effort to learn the whole picture (and it just isn't thought in schools) and just want to use something quickly for their current problem. Which is why they pick JWT and don't understand the host of related technologies - OAuth2, OIDC, JWK, JWE - just to name a few.

I don't see a reason why I would ever want to use auth=none for anything as at that point JWT is just base64 encoded json but I may be too deep in the identity world by now.

What's wrong with using JWTs? What you have done should be industry standard and is enabled by the JWK spec. In fact several features of OpenID Connect are built upon signed JWTs from a well-known JWK store.

The difference is the intent. The criminal wants to do bad things while the pilot does not want anyone to get harmed.
fireant··on BPF: A New Type of Software
Could you create an unbounded loop by scheduling another BPF execution on the end of each program? I imagine something like a WASM runtime that would be split into multiple BPF programs on loops. Which would practically achieve https://github.com/nebulet/nebulet, right?

I work on PSD2 implementation for a local bank. Will solve is correct, not many banks implement it yet (but "final" deadline is approaching). Also there are rate limits for PSD2 APIs. And also the extremely costly license, which means that there will have to be middlemen reselling PSD2 access.

US has been glorifying violent vigilantes in popular media for at least 50 years. Vigilante superhero movies are one of the most selling every year.

There is one channel similar to this, but this time its purpose seems to only be "marketing"..
