What's the book that most influenced you on critical/rational thinking?

The website promotes a list (http://rationality.org/reading/). I have only read "Thinking, Fast and Slow" and I am looking for HN users favorites.

I have spent like 10 minutes approving everyone (as I am really social and have no problem meeting people whatever their interest are). So far, no matches. Got bored, but will come back in few hours to check it.

There is some projects that I usually do to get a feeling of the framework:

- Code snippets/tasks manager. Pure CRUD. If you want to get yourself dirty: add authentication.

- A blog (like SEJeff suggested). If you want to get yourself dirty: try to make it multilingual with SEO.

- Syllabication app. Helps me to find how business logic is best placed into app mindset.

I have to go, but if you need more examples just say! :)

I have just discovered that the sign up process is a pair request too, I though that one thing was registering an account and another one asking for pair.

Feedback: It is necessary to set company name/description mandatory for sign up? I have no company yet and I plan to use your service for different projects.

There is any way to sign up using a simple email address instead of a Google account?

I found the post interesting since I am planing moving from Spain to SF to work after finishing my grade.

There is plenty of information about the goods of SF, but for people from outside it's difficult to find the cons.
