Sabadell warned about ‘high risks’ in IT integration of TSB https://www.ft.com/content/c5157c1e-20ab-11e5-aa5a-398b2169c...
It's built in a way that will allow me to drop in new instrument modules in the future and I'm hoping to get around to that at some point.
One of my synths is on Github and is structured in the same way as the acid synths: https://github.com/errozero/poly-synth
I also made this synth that uses it, you can use your typing keyboard too: http://www.errozero.co.uk/stuff/poly/
...and a little pong game, you can control the paddle with any knob on a connected MIDI controller. http://errozero.co.uk/midi-pong/
Since then I have released version 2 which has the ability to add fx to the instruments, use MIDI devices and lots more. It gets a few sales a week with traffic still coming from those music sites.
Do you think it would be possible to do the image conversion in Javascript so it does not need to be uploaded to the server?
I can't remember how I found these numbers or what I googled to come across them.
My Acid Machine app has been built in a way so that all of the instruments are self contained modules, you could possibly create an instrument that would be compatible with the whole UI and step sequencer etc of my app quite easily.
It definitely needs some improvement.
Try it out live here: http://errozero.co.uk/acid-machine/
Then it moves to the next block and randomly decides whether to re-use the previous block or create a new one. This stops it from sounding completely random in a bad way.
Selecting the Arabic scale creates some interesting patterns.
The web-based version is like a demo, it's free to use but saving and importing is disabled. I'm selling a downloadable desktop app version which has the restrictions removed.
I'm thinking of making it completely free and maybe selling ad-space on there instead.
It was taking longer than I thought so I decided to create a V2 of my old Acid Machine app using this code as a base.
It's great to see people talking about it after being hidden away on my laptop for so long. If anyone has any technical questions, I would love to answer them. Also.. I am on the lookout for some freelance work at the moment.
The instruments in Acid Machine 2 are built in a modular way, kind of like a basic vst plugin. This is because I started out trying to make a more fully featured web daw. It would be possible to add in more instruments in the future.
