Simply not true. Compare the cost of a beer in, say, Thailand and Norway. Are you suggesting if the exchange rate were fixed they would reach parity over time?

Don't forget about Mono. You can write code in your favourite MS language (F#, in my case) and have all the benefits of cheap linux hosting and your favourite SQL database/NoSQL solution.

It's a real shame they took out the nice terse OCaml syntax to make it look more similar to javascript.

I have an Omnia 7 and (to my relief) the update installed without a hitch. So it's not affecting all handsets.
