Conference organizers sucked at communication, both internally and with the speaker.

But the speaker doesn't take the affront in stride, instead choosing to make a stink on Twitter, complain, swear about a ruined weekend, and call people racist. Not the kind of professionalism I would expect from a prospective keynote speaker.

That can be true, but it depends on the company. For example, sometimes layoffs are in order of seniority, so if you had the poor fortune of being the most recently hired, you are also first on the chopping block. I think it is probably not quite as black and white as you described.

I've been using Clerk for the past few weeks and it is an absolute breeze. Docs are easy to read and understand. They've prebuilt enough and the features they included are pretty useful (like organizations!). However, they annoy you with lots of emails. Pros and cons.

You're technically correct, but I think that's a different definition of the word "cult" from the colloquial, and from what is being used above. Wikipedia's definition describes a cult as "unusual," "socially deviant," and "novel." I don't think Christianity fits that description in America.
