I was thinking that it would be useful to create a site where companies could pledge a small amount of help, or entrepreneurs could post their top 5 tips?
Anyone else have any interesting ideas?

Good luck Ben...
SEO on a site with tables isn't going to penalise you that much therefore it must be that these SEM marketers are happier building them with tables.
But are there any advantages - is it easier to design if the site doesn't use complex tables? There really can't be any advantage to download speed - as browsers are likely to render tables slightly slower.
Also you may want to look at commandlinefu.com: http://www.commandlinefu.com/commands/tagged/34/bash
This is a script written by a colleague. http://www.visualcortex.co.uk/. Add the following function to your .bash_profile in Apple OSX. Now open a directory in Finder, then open terminal and type cdf, your terminal will now change directory to the same one as the last Finder opened.
# function to change directory to the one set in the last opened finder.
cdf () {
currFolderPath=$( /usr/bin/osascript <<" EOT"
tell application "Finder"
try
set currFolder to (folder of the front window as alias)
on error
set currFolder to (path to desktop folder as alias)
end try
POSIX path of currFolder
end tell
EOT
)
echo "cd to \"$currFolderPath\""
cd "$currFolderPath"
}I think the web game for general apps has shifted up a gear. However I believe this down turn in the economy is going to drive more 'less tech savy' users to try and make a buck on the web.
To Jo Bloggs the web is an income stream he should be using to get through this economic downturn. As an entrepreneur this is a market worth tackling? What do you think?
That looks really interesting - I do a lot of web site work for clients, in Rails, PHP and simple static HTML sites.
I've found that sometimes you want to mock up simple sites without using a framework or a CMS system like Drupal, but want to keep your code DRY.
Also some small companies often won't want to change their data frequently and would rather pay someone to do it for them and I think this is the best tool for the job.
Thanks for you comment I'll have a play with webgen it looks like an interesting project.
Many thanks Ben Emson...
