And, unfortunately, like other Apple services (like Back to my Mac), it suffers from access to computers behind routers.

Looks like a good move for all, especially Mark Cuban.

Caddy looks great. Thanks.

Hey, I did my MA thesis on Soeech Act Theory!

Something like that does sound familiar, yes. Was it (((hugs))) ?

Thanks. I didn't even have to waste 1.

I use "last year" filters all the time with Google (via !g bangs), this !gyear is awesome. Thanks. TIL.

This is a great idea, but... honestly, I'm not sure how many people will want to donate to ownCloud. Maybe I under-estimate the size of their following.

I was a little skeptical about what this offered via just running Hugo locally, but this does have some nice features. I like the "pay what it's worth to you" price approach. Hope it's effective.

Especially now that they are moving into full HD screens and 4/32 configs instead of 2/16. That was a horrible idea. Oh, and away from those Atom processors. This most recent gen and next gen should (IMO), be significant upgrades.

I've heard it is in China.

But, let's say you want to look at images of shoes. If you google "shoe images", it brings you to the main search page for images, you have to click over to "Images" results.

if you DDG for: "!gi shoe images", it will automatically do this for you.

or just "!a" for amazon.

I love DDG, so, it oddly irked me to see someone spell out "gmaps" instead of "gm". Odd how much I was bothered by those few letters. Brevity!

25 points means OP isn't the only one interested. I, like you, am not sure what caught so much attention though.

In fact, just the other day I got a ball park estimate for a web dev project. We agreed on a discovery rate and a ballpark figure. And there is an asterisk next to it that later is explained to say that the price is subject to change based on the discovery work.

This is all very reasonable and we are happy.

Communicate, be reasonable, and people will generally understand.

That's seems to be a common refrain from conservatives. I used to be far more conservative, but I never bought that argument.

What is it about people with MA and PhD programs that fosters a liberal environment? Your answer just reinforces the question OP asked.

There more education I've received (high school, BA, then MA, now MA+45) the more liberal I've become (mostly on social issues I'm more moderate on fiscal issues). And I was raised in a fiercely conservative family with conservative grandparents.

So, there is something to this!

Oh, and many of my teachers were also conservative (religious private schools for BA and some MA), but I still ended up more liberal.

Can we have weekly whining threads about WhatsApp now? Just make it like an automated thing; maybe a sticky!

Well, this is disappointing. I was late to the Sunrise party, so I've barely been able to use it. I'm not thrilled about heavily integrating Outlook into my future work, so I guess it's off to find another solution.

Thanks for the recommendation. This looks fantastic. If only it could do iMessage (which I know is a whole different beast).

"Building Client-Editable Jekyll Sites 15.30 - 16.00 George Phillips (@gphillips_nz) CTO at CloudCannon"

This should be the main presentation-- it's the biggest obstacle (from what I see).

I love this. Another reason to use DDG for all searches initially, and then going to other engines as necessary.

Keep it up!

This is 1 month old...

Correct that you cannot be compelled to unlock your phone (with a code, not Touch ID) or reveal the passcode?

So, we can all be even more disappointed on a stream instead of in our phones?

In case people only read headlines, this is per India's regulations. So, we'll see if it's widespread or not.

The hosting org' website said it would be coming "shortly".

Yep! Considering Keynote is the best presentation tool-- but it just sits there. I'd kill for the iWork platform to go open source.

And their podcast service is so nice, especially integrating with Twitter cards. But, I don't know how long they can last.

I have a 2013, and I didn't see one either.
