Also need to invest time and energy on twitter search (https://twitter.com/explore) with know-how on search operators (https://github.com/igorbrigadir/twitter-advanced-search) to find the right topics and people you want to have a conversation with.

if you require to sync and save your notes, create a private repo and create a shortcut to do a commit with blank message (`git commit --allow-empty-message -m ''`) + pushing to remote repo at your demand whenever you need it (could be useful to put it in a cronjob)
you won't create an interesting history on your repo but ultimately, regardless of third-party feedback, it must be useful to you.
PD: execute chatGPT-like searches on your own local personal documentation (knowledge base) which automatically scrape content from any link you saved and retrain the model at your demand without the need to pay a monthly subscription would be amazing.
- HN Search website [0] (with the use of search operators), almost always I remember a keyword from the title and restrict the search between dates (or sort by date if is something recent).
- History Trends Unlimited chrome extension [1], in case I remember the domain.
- A local "personal knowledge base" / "digital garden" / "second brain" [2], in case I want to remember, review, and/or update my notes. "Local" to speed up search (with `ripgrep`[3])

Thanks for this AMA.
What do you think "remote SW Eng around the world" (non US citizens, non US residents and NRA - non resident aliens) COULD/SHOULD do to make the process easier to be hired from US companies or startups? (question is more oriented to legal or tax liabilities and work permissions than meet all technical requirements from job offers)
EDIT: work directly to those companies (as a contractor or, if possible and viable, as an employee - with benefits), not through intermediaries or as a SW shop (B2B deal)
