Are you saying Miquel Roca and Jordi Solé Tura are cronies from the dictatorship? The Constitution of 1978 was voted freely in Catalonia, and it is that very same Constitution what makes the referendum illegal.
If IQ = 100 * mental age / real age, how is it measured in old age? If you are 80 and have an IQ of 50, would that mean you have the mind of a 40-year-old?
They still have ridiculously high prices. For example: a gallon of Crystal Geyser water is $1.50, while in most other places is $1.00. What justifies a 50% premium?
The good old days of the previous government, where you could have a warehouse of GPUs mining bitcoins with subsidized electrical bills, are sadly over. Now people have to pay for what they use, like in any reasonable part of the world. Or is there any other country that provides electricity for ridiculous prices where all these startups you say will close will move to?
This sounds great. I think, however, that the big challenge for Argentina is convincing investors that this has any chance of being stable for many years to come. In a country where every new government promises and attempts a radical re-foundation of the State, with no long-term policies and goals agreed to and respected by the whole political spectrum, this may be hard to do.
From one the presentations of this year's WWDC, I had the impression that there may be some of Rust's ownership concepts incorporated in future versions of Swift. It would definitely be very interesting.
Large jusrisdictions with multiple representatives has its own set of problems too. In the current system, people, at least, know who their representative is, and there is more accountability.
... and that they will need to allocate a budget to this migration project, and make sure it is delivered successfully. If they do not understand the benefits, "business" folks will just see it as an annoyance.
I don't think there is anything special about the verb "sentir". "Sentirse" is just using it in a reflexive way, and the same holds for many other verbs: acostar, cepillar, duchar, levantar, etc.
Also: according to the video, entry is quite free. How will they prevent some terrorist asshole from causing major damage with a car full of explosives?
If Mozilla manages to build a product based on Servo that kicks Electron's ass (safer, faster, cheaper to distribute, etc.), then I am not sure that Chrome cannot be beat (or be seriously challenged).
This Electron competitor would become very popular, and it could become the "entry drug" into Rust development (you would be able to do everything in HTML/CSS/JS but you would also have the option to code some parts in Rust, for more power), which would also grow the number of Servo contributors. With a large enough community, Servo-based Firefox could fight for a place at being the best browser (safest, fastest, full-featured).
That's what I have now. Windows 10 is OK-ish, but I miss macOS a lot. My plan is to buy a very strong iMac for my home office, and keep my Dell XPS 13 laptop with Windows 10 for when I am mobile.
I am waiting to see what iMacs Apple announces. I'd rather pay a premium and buy a legitimate Mac, but, if they don't announce anything for a few more months, or if the specs disappoint, I might build a Hackintosh.
