I'm not sure that's right since things are light-years away it means you also need to travel just as long (or is this just as far as outside obeservers are concerned?). But even so, the universe around you would still get older while you travel like that so in a few trips you will reach the heat death of the universe.

Oh god I fell into the trap as well. I hardly played games in the past few years and strictly single player ones which aren't infinite time sinks. Then WoW classic came and I just wanted to chill out a bit and experience some nostalgia. Now I'm hooked again, doing about 3 hours a day while also juggling work, family life etc.

BTW, the fun starts when they introduce PvP honor and battlegrounds. Other than that it's a true grindfest.

Well actually we are all victims of the lawmakers as noone dares to punish the CO2 polluters. All this talk of privilege is meaningless compared to what we will all have to endure if we keep destroying our enviroment like that.

I really don't know, but I've done a lot of crazy stuff, including reg editing. I'm using it for all kinds of development, running virtual machines, web dev, game dev, music production, downloading and installing apps from unofficial sources. I use xshell for ssh stuff and cygwin (I don't like the regular cmd and powershell). The only time I had to reinstall it in the last 4 years is when I wanted to remove some bloat, tracking and uninstalling some default apps. I did it all at once and then restarted and I must've broken something. Other than that it's all good, everything works and I'm used to it.

I also have a macbook pro now and it's confusing to me still, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Either way windows 10 is more than adequate, as far as stability goes it's great, I can't say for sure about performance but looks fine to me. Or maybe I just won the win10 lottery or something, "it just works" for me. Either way it doesn't feel like there should be a better or worse OS, they just have somewhat different flows and each has their upsides and downsides.

I've been using windows my whole life and especially on win 10 everything works fine, but I've been nagged on from all sides that mac is so much better than windows that I finally decided to try it and bought it 2 months ago. Long story short I rarely use it and I still don't have the proper tools and workflow to completely abandon my win laptop. And to make things even worse now everywhere I look people are saying windows has gotten better than mac and people are switching back to windows and such. Did I make a mistake or do I just need to figure it out more? I really don't know but mac is really super confusing so far and it looks more for home users or hipsters. I can't say anything about ubuntu though, I work with it all the time as far as bash and servers are concerned, but I've never used it as a primary OS.

I strongly disagree. Autoplay does exactly what I want when binging through series. I would watch it either way, but why would I need to click buttons for each episode when it can be automatic.

Same here, I am a dev and it's not bad at all, but in reality if working for money wasn't necessary I could read, make music, play games and have fun with my family. We are frugal anyway, 60% of what I make is going towards buying real estate to rent out for a passive income and then I will be able to indulge in the above while living off it.

I'd say if you're not intelligent enough to also develop your emotional or spiritual development (it doesn't have to be forced you just need to not be closed to it), then you aren't really extremely intelligent, you're just trying to come off as one or more accurately your idea of how one would be like.

The point of those videos (besides providing some entertainment) is satisfying one's curiosity. In my opinion USA is the one that needs to be kept in check, being the self proclaimed world police has left only destruction in it's wake. Covert operations, intelligence gathering is totally fine, but having several military bases in every country with an oil resource and forcing your will on innocent people thousands of miles away from your country is not. You are the aggressor and don't delude yourself otherwise.

I don't think Coinbase users are looking for security/privacy. To be specific, Coinbase is considered a novice cryptocurrency user platform since they have some relatively hefty fees in exchange for being simple to use AKA "It's for normies".

From what i know about cryptocurrencies, Ethereum has so many more use cases and functionalities built in than Bitcoin. It seems like this is what blockchain tech is all about, not just transacting money. Is there some real reason why Ethereum coin market cap is so much lower? Is it just the hype and Bitcoin being first?

Yeah but they are not functionally identical as Bitcoin's value comes from it being immutable, decentralized and failure-proof.
