Do you think Berliners are happy that the referendums they voted for are getting ignored? The current mayors party has the lowest approval ratings ever. The current chancellor of the same party is the most hated in German history.
And then come some big-shots here talking about how it's well-deserved that a city of 4 million people got hacked and who knows what data leaked.
And I find it ironic in that you are kind of proving the point, by painting it as a black and white issue. This is what the "extremism" means to me. Another form of that spectrum could be: Endangered species -> wild animals -> farmed animals. Do you think it would be as wrong to kill the last specimens of an animal that is about to go extinct as it would be to kill an animal that has been bred over thousands of years and could probably not survive in the wild on its own? While i am against all killing, when presented with this choice the answer is pretty clear to me.
And you even made a similar distinction yourself in another comment here:
>I hope people say the same about all animals, but especially mammals.
So again, not sure what you are trying to argue.
that wasn't even accurate on the day he got elected, considering a third of the country did not vote at all.

Multiple people on the r/berlin subreddit are saying they can not apply for voting by post for the next election, on the 20th of september.

so usually those conversations end with a "hm yes that's nice too"
And cannabis. It's hippy heaven.
I assume they are referring to LLMs escaping confinement and hacking other companies systems unprompted

That's not a universal opinion and perhaps, just like for LLMs, we should have listened to the experts rather than gobbling up everything the industry pushed down our throats (to keep your car simile: SUVs are now ubiqutous in all European cities, there is no logical reason that should be the case)
We're on the subject of Zuckerberg: facebook is the poster child for enshittification. Do you think the idea to stop showing you your friends pictures and replace them with ads and ragebaiting short form videos came from the users?
> people have acted the way I'm criticizing.
You are ignoring the myriad of billionaire fanboys and enablers for whom the only metric of success is a persons net worth.
Looking at the state of things I don't think these people are deserving of nuance, in fact they've had it way too easy.
This has already been the case for at least my whole lifetime. So no, I don't feel like praising them when they do one seemingly "good" thing, while simultaneously doing 99 "bad" things.
