I have been using LineageOS 14 on my now very old original Nexus 5, and its fantastic, really gave it a new life line after my 6p broke. A little sad that its not supported for v16.

In my opinion, the only two entities that should be involved in the process is the employer and the candidate. Adding more human elements will I think increase potential for abuse (favoritism) and in my opinion single out more extroverted people who have more references and whom they know will say positive things about them. Contrived example; extremely introverted developer who cant make friends and would never ask for references due to various reasons (shyness, anxiety, apathy). He will not benefit from this because he has no references to begin with even if he is a brilliant engineer.

Perfect example of "its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" if the execs remembered the meeting and did't like the naming, and also meshes extremely well with "It turns out, when you write the code, you have a fair amount of power"

Its so tiring

The fact that this happened on a Friday with a Monday holiday coming up smells extremely fishy to me.

Of course this is completely unfounded, but I have a gut feeling its a hack and we will be hearing more about it in the future. Most electronic heists happen at exactly these times because the banks will not reopen until following Tuesday at which time it can potentially be way too late.

One prominent example that I can think off the top of my head is the Bangladesh Bank Robbery [1], but I am sure there are more example to be found
