.NET Standard is like an interface
.NET Core is like a class that implements the interface
Desktop .NET framework is like a class that implements that interface
Mono is like a class that implements that interface
Like any other class/interface relationship, the class has to implement all interface members, but may add class specific features
MX Blues are tactile and clicky.
If you want tactile, but not clicky, then you would want an MX Brown. You can feel when the actuation happens, and as long as you don't bottom out the keys, they are silent. Many DasKeyboard models come with a choice of Blue/Brown, but other manufacturers have them as well.
Here is a site that has an explanation of the various colors:

The BATNA for the employer is training a new person who isn't going to make every 6-12 months a fight.
Suggesting that it's fine for the employee to exercise their BATNA, but that it's not OK for the employer to exercise theirs seems a bit odd.
what, they'll find a better and better job every six months?
From the commenter above, make your employer fight for you every 6-12 months.. A lot of people hate stack ranking ("making your employee fight for their job every 6-12 months"), so why do people think that companies will want to be in the reverse position.
how they'd be paid better somewhere else, deal with it. Denial gets you nowhere.
The above poster said, "wished the employee all the best with his new job.", which is dealing with it, and not denying it. It's a win/win for everyone. The employee gets a new position with presumably higher pay, and the employer gets a chance to hire someone who isn't going to make them "fight for you every 6-12 months".

Implementation in the real world matters.
Note that this is not what the article says. It says that they stopped scanning Gmail for ads, but does not say they stopped scanning email for non-ad purposes.
If our company had to delete all customer data for a particular customer, then I would need to:
restore 6 months of database backups individually, remove the data, then run then take and store each backup again.
have 3 years worth of tape backups shipped back to us from our data protection company. Restore the databases off of them, delete the data, store them back on tape, and have them shipped back to the long term storage facility.

If that was the question asked, and we take the poll numbers as a proxy, then you end up with:
Obamacare:
29% - keep (very positive + somewhat positive)
46% - repeal (somewhat negative + very negative)
25% - unsure (neutral + don't know enough)
ACA:
22% - keep (very positive + somewhat positive)
37% - repeal (somewhat negative + very negative)
41% - unsure (neutral + don't know enough)
So in other words, even though the original poster was trying to say "cut the crap and just ask people", the difference by just changing Obamacare to ACA is a 7% swing in keep, and a 9% swing in repeal.
It's not like we normalize votes in the real world. We don't say "more people didn't know what that thing was, so we'll just fudge the numbers a bit". If people don't vote, then people don't vote. That's exactly why phrasing matters, and exactly why something like advice "asking Obamacare: repeal or keep" is so worrying.
Unfortunately, it's not that easy, because if you change Obamacare to the Affordable Care Act, the answer changes.

Abstract:
"In this paper, we study the existence of multicollisions in iterated hash functions. We show that finding multicollisions, i.e. r-tuples of messages that all hash to the same value, is not much harder than finding ordinary collisions, i.e. pairs of messages, even for extremely large values of r. More precisely, the ratio of the complexities of the attacks is approximately equal to the logarithm of r. Then, using large multicollisions as a tool, we solve a long standing open problem and prove that concatenating the results of several iterated hash functions in order to build a larger one does not yield a secure construction. We also discuss the potential impact of our attack on several published schemes. Quite surprisingly, for subtle reasons, the schemes we study happen to be immune to our attack."
The primary key of the todo_lists table is "PRIMARY KEY (user_id, list_id)".
So the foreign key in todo_items should be (user_id, list_id), and it is.
"If users have the same list ID..." Why would they?
User 1 has a list 1, and User 2 has a list 1. Just as if User 1 had a list 'grocery', and User 2 had a list 'grocery'.
An SVN client being used to access an SVN repository is hardly unusual, certainly not in the way insinuated by the wording presented.
"The other is to buy a cartridge at roughly 20-percent off through Lexmark’s “Return Program.” A customer who buys through the Return Program still owns the cartridge but, in exchange for the lower price, signs a contract agreeing to use it only once and to refrain from transferring the empty cartridge to anyone but Lexmark."
Note that because the contract is with the purchaser, and not with the refiller/reseller, Lexmark can only use the original purchaser. Which is why they turned to patent law in order to try to and stop the refiller/reseller.

manager: Why did you allow this thing to happen.
me: It was an edge case that I pointed out 7 months ago. I've put it on the backlog 3 times, and you've removed it each time citing that it's an edge case that would never happen, and other newer features needed to be implemented.
manager: That's an engineer's response. Just fix it!
me: welp, shrug
