I disagree and think that learning through imitation is itself a creative process. It opens up possibilities that didn't exist for the imitator beforehand. It shows how things work and creates new conceptual models in their minds. At the same time, I do think that creating from first principles is the most creative.
ds206··on The Rise of the $10M Disc Golf Celebrity
The pros throw a lot of 12 and 13 speed discs which result in 400 - 500+ feet drives. I can only dream of accomplishing that kind of distance.

Btw, the 2021 Disc Golf World Championships just started. You can watch the first 9 holes here: https://youtu.be/b-OICF4pyK4

"literally the only people I've seen push this kind of nonsense are antivaxxers and conspiracy theorists."

Literally? Everyone? LOL this is why there are so many normal people in this thread saying "at least let's have a discussion!"

Your sentiment is the reason (imo) that these discussions are so hard to have, no offense.

ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
How about having a discussion? Not everything has to be so complicated lol

So you'd rather not listen to other scientists, doctors, and pharmacologists with real world experience with these drugs for your own research purposes? I mean, if you had YouTube videos explaining your research results, I would watch it.
ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
But drug commercials on TV are? I mean, why can't a doctor talk about the benefits of a certain drug with a "but talk to your own doctor first"? How is that any different?
ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
Well, all the data we have is from outside the U.S. so I guess U.S. doctors in-the-know are trying to discuss it but getting shut down on U.S.-based social media.
ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
The drug IS legal in the U.S. lol

You just need a prescription

ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
"everybody in the world is benefiting"

Did the patent issues get resolved? Last I heard, the drug companies didn't want to share because of reasons.

ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
Sorry, that clip doesn't talk about what I thought it did. I watched the whole 2.5 video before it was censored/taken down from YouTube and somewhere in there they talk about why they think Ivermectin is effective (assuming it is).

The full video can be watched here: https://odysee.com/@BretWeinstein:f/COVID-Ivermectin-and-the...

From what I understand, it's the anti-inflammatory piece of Ivermectin that can help with covid because, apparently, the respiratory issue with covid is not caused by covid directly but rather an overexcited autoimmune response.

I'm not a doctor but that's what some doctors on YouTube have said ;)

ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
It's also been given to people around the world billions of times for 4 or 5 decades.

Yeah, don't take the horse dose lol, take the human dose.

ds206··on Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 Infection
The FLCCC has 2 protocols that include Ivermectin among other things:

https://covid19criticalcare.com/ivermectin-in-covid-19/

ds206··on NIH study offers new evidence of early SARS-CoV-2 infections in U.S.
Isn't that what the study is suggesting though? They are looking back (like you point out) and finding it earlier than we all thought?
ds206··on Ivermectin as a Covid-19 Therapy
But Ivermectin IS a wonder drug for other things. It's been around for decades and billions of doses have been taken. It's not just some random drug.

Having said that, it remains to be seen if can work for covid too.

Here, I have a video to fill you in a little about Ivermectin. It's only 12 mins long.

If you watch it, I have a question for you.

Based on the info in the video, do you think Ivermectin has potential to treat covid? Yes or no?

https://youtu.be/4O7uy4tzI8A

Another question. Should videos like this be banned by YouTube?

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
Ohh you have a thing for Bret. Me too, I think he's great ;)

I recommend people to watch it too.

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
Oh I'm not saying that commercial interest automatically makes a study BS.

I'm saying that commercial interest is commercial interest so why would it fund a study that isn't commercially viable?

Ivermectin isn't a money maker. It's a life saver. Vaccines and other new solutions are money makers and life savers (they hope)

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
That's not true.

Here is a 12 min clip with Bret and Pierre Kory about Ivermectin use for Covid / safety record: https://youtu.be/4O7uy4tzI8A

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
Here is a protocol for Ivermectin that is in use today: https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/

That website is run by FLCCC / Pierre Kory

Here is a video about Ivermectin for covid, with Pierre Kory: https://youtu.be/4O7uy4tzI8A

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
Right, the video in question is literally the reporting I trust.

The video itself appears (to me) to be between qualified people talking about medical information is a careful way like adults.

Maybe you should watch it? Just the first 15 mins?

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
No one is paying for studies where there is no money to be made later. It's a chicken and egg problem in a way. Ivermectin is cheap and off patent.
ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
It's funny how everyone agreeing with YouTube hasn't watched the video in question.

Y'all are very opinionated on the 2nd or 3rd level information instead of the primary source.

Par for the course these days...

ds206··on “YouTube is shutting down dissenting Biology PhDs and MDs”
No. Ivermectin is off patent. There is no money to be made. That is the point. Everyone wants to invent new drugs and vaccines to make a buck. Btw, Merck is distancing themselves from Ivermectin because they have a new drug in the works. Please read/watch more.
ds206··on Heart inflammation cases in young men higher than expected after mRNA vaccines
Bret Weinstein (evolutionary biologist), Robert Malone (inventor of mRNA tech), and Steve Kirsch (researching adverse reactions to covid vaccines) talked about this today on Bret's YouTube channel. It's somewhere between the middle and the end of the stream iirc.

I highly recommend watching the whole stream.

I'm just curious, do you think your chances of dying or having serious problems from catching covid is higher or lower than one in a million?

ds206··on Facebook's Trump ban upheld by Oversight Board, for now
It's too bad politicians don't have a way to express their policy views to everyone in as much detail as they need, spanning as many hours as it takes. Oh yeah, they do LOL.

I wonder how long it'll be until we have the first "big brother" politician that has web cams in their office and is transparent about every decision they've made?
