This is a very bad advice which leads to a false sense of security:
1. A fast hash function is not desired for hashing passwords. (Bruteforce)
2. There are TBs of rainbowtables for unsalted md5.
3. If you use a salt, you would have to expose it clientsided.
Just wondering...
Interesting language though.
Not sure if...
"Most powerful guy on the planet? I hadn't heard of him until now."
OK. Troll.
What websites your visitors consume is IMHO not your business.
Is it close?
This is just sad.
Nice idea though.
Step 2. Get sourcecode
Step 3. Win!
Good thing: Instant bypass using 'developer tools' or firebug...
(Linux Mint 13, Xinerama, Chrome)
So I guess you still end up writing your algorithm in OpenCL / Cuda and maybe use the serialization provided by this lib.
Update: (Just read the hpcc_rootbeer.pdf slides.) You write your _parralellized_ implementation of an Algorithm in Java - and it will be executed on the GPU.
I have a _very_ bad feeling about that.
