dlsym··on Linux Distributions that deserve more Love
It has full access to all arch repos including aur.

Edit: I guess you can think of it like "arch with an installer and configured desktop environment".

dlsym··on Linux Distributions that deserve more Love
Manjaro (http://manjaro.org/) works great for me. Arch linux without much pain and with XFCE.
dlsym··on An NSA-Proof Twitter, Built With Code From Bitcoin and BitTorrent
And I thought Twitter was all about screaming out information for the whole world to see. An "NSA proof" version seems pretty pointless to me.
dlsym··on The Problem With The Big Bang Theory
sigh not the shitty TVshow again.
dlsym··on [dead]
\textwidth is much to wide.
dlsym··on CSS animated loading indicators
IE?

dlsym··on Preventing weak passwords by reading your mind
Absolutely!
dlsym··on Show HN: Knwl.js - Scan through text for data that may be of interest
Yeah. If you could get me the indices of the extracted data, too.

That would be great.

dlsym··on Your location history
You are being watched.
dlsym··on Create a Simple Music Streaming App with Flask
More a Simple Music "Download" App.

The content in this example is not streamed.

dlsym··on Suggest HN: make a separate community just for Bitcoin articles
Yay! Subhns! I suggest news.ycombinator.com/hn/bitcoin

But yes. I agree. The amount of Bitcoin related posts is too damn high.

Edit: Link.

dlsym··on Show HN: A game I've been working on for the last year is out today
I really like your 8-Bit graphics approach! But I am a little bit disappointed, that you did not include Bootstrap somewhere.
dlsym··on Syntax Off (2012)
"How I stopped [perfectly fine activity]... And why you should, too."
dlsym··on Alcohol without the hangover?

dlsym··on Java Virtual Machine in pure Node.js
18ms for calculating Fibonacci numbers from 1 to 10. This is definitily bringing JAVA back to the good old days of enterprise execution speeds. :-)

Really cool proof of concept! I would really enjoy seeing more projects like this!

dlsym··on Php.net detected as a malware host by Google Safe Browsing
Sure, there are many reasons to dislike PHP. But I wouldn't go as far and call it a malware.
dlsym··on Maptcha: An Experiment in Map-Based CAPTCHA
It's so bot safe that even a human can't solve this!

Finally a good way to keep potential Customers from using your product!

dlsym··on See Your Folks
Great. Now I'm depressed. :-/

dlsym··on Incredible pictures from the Redbull Photography Contest
I don't want to sound bitchy - but this is the second time today I see content here where my first impression is: This doesn't belong here. Please post this to Reddit.

What's comming up next? HN AdviceAnimals?

dlsym··on GNOME Disabling Middle Click Paste
Great. They "defered this change until the next cycle."
dlsym··on GNOME Disabling Middle Click Paste
Sometimes I get the feeling that there are only idiots or assholes working on gnome :-/

It all started with this whole: "Yeah - let's dumb it all down."-movement.

"Improvements" like these are just disgusting. (Edit: This falls into the same category of great ideas like the "spatial nautilus".)

dlsym··on Show HN: Popped At, my many, many weekends realtime photo project
Reminds me of the "WebCollage" XScreensaver - Written by Jamie Zawinski; 1999. :-)

http://www.jwz.org/webcollage/

This creates collages out of random images from
the World Wide Web. It finds the images by feeding
random words into various search engines, and pulling
images (or sections of images) out of the pages returned.

WARNING: THE INTERNET SOMETIMES CONTAINS PORNOGRAPHY.

Even has the NSFW warning ;-)
