Dropped out of Columbia (physics, philosophy) for a Thiel Fellowship. Built Julep AI — open-source AI agent framework, 7k stars on GitHub — because I wanted agents that could actually do things. Now building Memory Store (YC X26): persistent memory for AI agents. Turns out the hard problem isn’t making agents smart, it’s making them remember.

Still fascinated by what foundational models and cognitive architectures teach us about our own minds. Building beats theorizing, but sometimes they’re the same thing.

diwank··on Poll: Are you (still) using Google+
Bingo! Having been able to create a niche in itself is no mean feat.

Surprisingly enough the lower noise is putting people off! One of my friends commented that he missed 'mafia wars' and troubling random people (!) .

Wasn't it the same initially with orkut? Back then, especially in India and Brazil, people were skeptical about facebook.

Can you imagine that?

ROFL! +100 mate.
diwank··on I, Interface: Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics Applied to User Interfaces
Have to admit that these are cool ways of looking at the fundamental objectives of a 'good' user interface.

Honestly, looking at the laws and to interpret them literally does no justice to them.

diwank··on Poll: Are you (still) using Google+
Agreed. I am a very frequent user. Yet most of my posts are shared solely with my friends.

In fact, almost everyone in my circles is doing the same thing. So, I don't think calling it a flop does any justice.

Same here. It works fine without a www But with a www prefixed, it reports ' Heroku | no such app '

Is it just me?

Hey, great job! A real test of an idea could often be it's potential to generate revenue.

I understand that it is a side-project and you may have different motivations.

But I guess it is even more reasonable for you to try implementing a business model. There is not much to lose (given you don't end up putting desperate adverts all over the app... Duh!) As an example, the 'karma-as-commodity' model might just work.

Point here being that I don't see something as valuable to a potential employer as a person who can write amazing apps and make some solid money out of it.

+1 for ability to respond to feedback. Someone said, '...your site could be better.' I hated not being able to ask, 'WHAT in it could be better?? Please elaborate!!!'

Wow.

Why has nobody ever thought of this before? You could go a step further and make 'karma points' a commodity! Pay a dollar for a feedback karma and take 50 cents for every karma point you want to give up. Would be nice. Add paypal to make it work nice and easy.

P.s. Although both the idea and the 'easy' bit in paypal integration could be controversial.
