degski··on Dear Email Industry, We’ve Got a GDPR Problem
I misunderstood the fact that you don't see it a as a problem.

I don't think the GDPR solves much or anything, iff you want to play on the internet, almost [there are good exceptions, where you can just choose to have a 'lesser' experience] all of the time you'll have to click "I agree".

So what, so do American tax-lawes (targetting Americans) and affect the rest of the world's citizens, FACTA.

What really infuriates me is this: "We respect your privacy, click here".

Yip. It also contracts the '==', i.e. they are shown attached as one elongated '='.

Did anyone look at some code in Visual Studio with this font.

Not using UEFI does not work that well, then you're back to MBR and the continual fight between Windows and GRUB.

I run a dual boot Win10/Fedora30 system (UEFI on a SATA3 SSD), it's pretty good, both Windows and Fedora.

Well, mate, you speak Australian ;-).
degski··on Ask HN: What's the best setup for ad blocking and tracker blocking?
No, I don't, but years ago [eons], hosts files tended to redirect to 127.0.0.1, which does incur a penalty. Directing to 0.0.0.0 [invalid IP] does not (or not any more).

There is already a good solution: https://www.plflib.org/colony.htm, that will [eventually] end up in the std [https://github.com/WG21-SG14/SG14/tree/master/SG14].
