I am not selling the product yet. I will definately post about my conversion rate once I do.

Like I said in my blog post, it worked pretty good for me.

From here, I basically went on and created a Minimal Viable product.

I use kall8(http://www.kall8.com/index.php), because they are cheap. $2 setup fee and $2 per month plus $0.06 per minute.

37 Signals is using grashopper (http://37signals.com/svn/posts/1973-announcing-ceo-office-ho...)

I would use it. I feel that your pricing is too expensive. I would pay $10 maybe $15 as a small company.

My Rogers connections are fine. They fast, but expensive. I bet Rogers has something to do with Amazon not coming to Canada sooner.

Dropbox also has a bit of secret sauce. They have some technology that can pick up which bits changed in a file and only sync those (which makes their service way faster than others)

I would love an invite: davidsmit at google's little mail service.

PG. Not sure why :-)

They only "Hijacked" 200 pages. I don't think it's such a big deal. It think he did the right thing though.

In my experience a google sitemap gets my blog in there pretty quickly too.

Twitter's offices seem pretty dark. The video of Schwarzenegger visiting the Twitter offices was pretty dark too.

Go It Alone (http://www.brucejudson.com/) by Bruce Judson

You can read it free online.

Me too. I am struggeling to get through it though.

The reason I didn't buys a MBP was because it can't support my 2 Samsung 22" displays. I don't work on anything but 2 displays these days...

I also use my iPhone's client, but mostly for reading emails.

I see you are pretty new. Welcome.

Dis omdat ek Afrikaans is dat ek sukkel met die spel. God dank vir MS Spell Check.

I am from South-Africa.

I moved to Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

I think some of the stats are skewed.

"Breast-feeding, hand-washing, sugar-salt solutions, vaccines, antibiotics, and bed nets together save millions -- and could save millions more -- and none need cost more than $5 a pop"

Also living of $280 a year $5 is a quarter of your monthly income which is quite a bit for these people. They don't save and all live hand to mouth.

Africa is screwed. That's why I left.

I just came across this: Scribes - Textmate for Ubuntu and it made we wonder if there was any other hidden Gems.

I wonder if Micheal A would fire Sarah Lacy over something like this.

He has always been heavily against sponsored posts.

Here's some more suggestions: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=713749

I am using it for Rails Dev and Web development, but I want dual monitors. I see that the Mac Mini does not offer this.

The problem that I am running into is that Rails behave differently on my Vista laptop than it does on my VPS and I and it's causing me quite a bit of grief.

I just want to be up and running as soon as possible.

One of the worst registration process I have had to go through. And you wonder why Newspapers are so f!@#^&ed. Their article is not even well written!

Clever little hack to get by the registration!

Bottom line: De Beers spent lots of money on 2 mines in Canada and now has $1.5bn in debt, while demand for diamonds are at an all time low.

Thanks for your ideas. I don't really have time to set up my own system though. I decided to rather work on making my application great.

I just checked out Mailchimp and they seem way more reasonable than the others. Thanks for you suggestion.
