Hey! I'm a computational maths student in the process of figuring out what to take in as a career: I love science and mathematics so it's going to be something around there!

Right now I feel really frustrated that I learned a bunch of computer science as a hobby and consider myself a skilled coder, but the jobs I find listed are not inspiring.

I don't get it. Wouldn't anyone's chances of marrying any group be higher if we assume they are married at all? Because "being married" is a super set of "being married to a person from X group"?

I've been in a few job/internship interviews only to realize I really want to do is to research and create things: be it in academia or in a company. I found it to be a niche harder to find opportunities for in comparison to, say, react/typescript/fullstack work.
