Is there code available anywhere of this implementation?
As soon as we get more control over AI output, those arguments will finally die their well deserved death
To those that AI art offend: don't think of people as artists, but simply as art directors dealing with stubborn artists that won't ever work to spec
Can it import my connections from WinSCP?
These queries also deal with permissions & realtime scheduling so endpoint caching doesn't solve it
Have gel users hit any performance issues, and how have they dealt with them?
I find he is consistent on his ideology, but I don't follow him closely to confirm my speculation
Are we sure? My experience with Instagram is the opposite, whenever you linger a bit on a reel you'll start to get more of that content
It's a pain because you have to constantly press "not interested" to curate your feed, I'd pretty much prefer to have content feeds, so that I can watch anything without having it go in my (im)permanent record
Log/inspector and replay are fundamental for me when I am setting up webhooks and integrations
The result was pretty good for the mesh, at least 100x faster than having to do it from scratch
When you contrast web UI with native GUI, the realspace you lose in the web accumulates fast
All that padding makes it hard to see the actual information, especially for power users
Compare this with Navicat, or even DBeaver, their native tabs, buttons and cells are almost half the height of Outerbase Studio GUI
At night I don't want to slog away implementing Foo and extending Bar
Unity is already a lot of programming to do any simple game mechanic, and you still have animation, modeling, art, lighting, shaders, sound...
I can't wait for AI to get to a point where I can tell it to "get look and feel from X game, mechanics from Y MOBA, multiplayer server" and get code good enough for an MVP
Games are for playing, code is an unfortunate side effect
Postgres really trips up when you start joining tables
Sometimes you can fix it with "(not) materialized" hints, but a lot of the time you just have to create materialized views or de-normalize your data into manual materialized views managed by the application
sqrl.Select("id", "cte1.*", "cte2.*").From("mytable").Join(CTE1{}).Join(CTE2{}).Where(etc)I want to create a game, but I have no interest in creating art and models, much less programming physics, netcode, abilities, etc
I'd prefer to create the games rules, mechanics and interactions (aka, the actual game experience). But I am forced to do the above because the gaming industry is lagging behind in DX it barely changed in the last 10 years
Every "art" has many sub-processes that are themselves art. Making paint, brushes, canvas, etc. But does anyone complain about artists not taking joy in creating their own paint after foraging for some rare purple spitting slime?
If you view one art form as a tool for your art, so be it
* LLM extracts the problem and measurements * Sends the data to a math plugin * Continues its reasoning with the result
Not just indexing, but table partitions, materialized views, keeping things in-memory...
No other reasoning with myself works better than just "snapping out"
I am only worried of ClosedAI highjacking my killer app, like with Amazon Essentials
Bankruptcy is only a "ClosedGPT whos been using you a lot and for what?" away...
That's not related to store quality, but of the users purchasing power
