cute_boi··on Taylor Farms has rewritten its cyclospora statement four times in sixteen days
The problem is now they add may contains milk on every item :/
cute_boi··on The Warp Agent CLI
I clicked on no ai during onboarding after installation, and I have never seen AI anywhere. I don't think pressing 1 button is really that hard?
cute_boi··on Keyv and friends compromised in active Shai-Hulud supply chain attack
I think npm can use chatgpt/claude for each published package to detect these types of attack? And if it sees they can restrict the package from making any changes.
cute_boi··on AirLLM 70B inference with single 4GB GPU
Yea, opus 4.6 is much better than opus 5 because it is willing to do task. Opus 5 just gaslights and refuses to solve many complex problem.
cute_boi··on Qwen3.8-Max: A New Bar for Coding and Cowork
The world never runs out of problem. There is so much work to do.
cute_boi··on Adding Go's Defer to the TypeScript Compiler
I think this is correct behavior.

``` async function run() { try { await new Promise(() => { // The executor function finishes, // but it never calls resolve() or reject(). }); } finally { console.log("cleanup"); } } ```
I never expect cleanup to be logged.
cute_boi··on Californians' data deletion requests, DROP, become enforceable Aug. 1
My number used to belong to an elderly woman, so I keep getting spam texts intended for her. I block the numbers, but they somehow keep sending me spam messages from different ones.
I don't think there is any solution other than changing my phone number at this point. The issue is fucking sites keep using phone number as 2fa.
cute_boi··on Read This Before You Buy That TV Streaming Stick
The best solution to this problem is to block GeoIP traffic and monitor bandwidth consumption on a per-domain basis. If something is sending data during the night, it becomes much easier to identify suspicious activity.
cute_boi··on Advancing the price-performance frontier with GPT‑5.6
there is mixture of experts which is also another routing. So, simple change in prompt can be a big difference.
cute_boi··on Google will expand age checks on Android worldwide till the end of the year
Exactly. In the future, to view a youtube video we will need create a Gmail account, we'll need a phone, SMS verification, an ID card, and we'll probably have to rotate your head two or three times and talk to some AI.
cute_boi··on Gemini Robotics 2 brings whole body intelligence to robots
yes at 1k tok/sec i think these robots will be fast and very fluid.
cute_boi··on FCC: Ban on Foreign-Made Robots Includes Robot Vacuums
Stupid politics is going to kill America.
cute_boi··on AI's top startups are barely publishing their research
Forget publishing, companies like misanthropic are buying rare books and destroying it.
cute_boi··on Claude Is Down
It depends.
Let’s say I’ve already worked on something, so the KV cache is already there. If I use /clear, I’ll have to do that work again.
And yes, the KV cache will remain available for one hour, but who knows when this claude api will recover? We might forget about it, and when we come back after an hour—boom - we’ll be charged for cold writes.
cute_boi··on [dead]
Yea, it is very tiring to read... I wish hn marks ai slop article so that I don't even bother opening these links.
cute_boi··on Residential Proxies Are a National Security Threat
Yea, but with AI we also have seen unprecedented amount of hackings etc.. using these residential proxies. Now even normal plebs can do so much harm.
cute_boi··on Residential Proxies Are a National Security Threat
The router could also be a good place to display live TCP usage and last 30 days usage and other network activity. There should also be a service that can identify whether specific IP addresses belong to botnets or other malicious infrastructure. If there are any abnormal activity mobile app can notify the user.
Governments could even purchase residential proxies themselves and check whether they're being used for malicious activity.
It isn't that difficult, but I guess governments just aren't that interested.
cute_boi··on Judge Rejects Google's Attempt to DMCA Its Way Out of Being Scraped
From where did you come to conclusion that adblock users get malware ads? This is the first time I am hearing this thing.
cute_boi··on Benchmarking Opus 5 on SlopCodeBench
Opus 5 is an overconfident stupid model. It tries to generate too much slop, tries to act like everything will fall. I have reversed back to fable and codex sol.
cute_boi··on 108 PRs in eight days: Accidentally discovering loop engineering
Accidentally discovering how to push slop. Even though AI is super helpful assistant, I think we must read source code before pushing to github.
cute_boi··on US citizen charged after GrapheneOS phone wipes during airport search
Well, these days especially at border police don't care about "rights"
cute_boi··on India's first privately-developed rocket reaches orbit on debut launch
Modi is bad, but Congress are objectively worst than him. This mean India have no choice.
cute_boi··on Opus 5 is currently #1 on Artificial Analysis Intelligence Leaderboard
Just ask math question and it will censor that. Even Misanthrophic employee confirmed that.
cute_boi··on My security camera shipped a GitHub admin token in its login page
Most of these companies try to penny pinch and give task to hardware engineer. As a result there are lot of security issues with IOT devices.
cute_boi··on JEP 540: Simple JSON API (Now in Incubator)
Even Rust syntax is so much clean and better than this...
cute_boi··on LG to ban residential proxies from smart TV apps
And it is source of major scam. NSA can simply sign up residential proxy and start banning each hop. But, I guess they aren't interested.
cute_boi··on Codeberg Bans Cryptocurrency Projects
The only good thing about crypto is we can send money easily to stupid countries without any hassle and crazy forex exchange. Other than that, i don't see any value in crypto.
cute_boi··on Codeberg Bans Cryptocurrency Projects
And it’s easy to detect slop that sucks up infrastructure resources just by looking at commit rates. For example, Peter Steinberger made 271,281 commits. No wonder GitHub goes down regularly because of the increase in slop activity.
cute_boi··on Are AI Labs Pelicanmaxxing?
At this point, I think there are so many pelican images in the pretraining data that drawing a pelican no longer makes sense as a model evaluation task.
cute_boi··on Are AI Labs Pelicanmaxxing?
https://playcode.io/blog/macbook-svg-benchmark
I think we should stop using pelican benchmark.
