I was wondering what the significance of these findings were. I was disappointed that it is mostly "fame and fortune".

What is the value of an aggregated price per room across all apartment sizes? A 1 room apartment is going to cost more than half of a 2 room apartment, which is going to cost more than one third of a 3 room apartment.

The price per room seems like it would be more useful if it was shown as "price per room for 1bdrm" and able to be switched to 2bdrm or 3bdrm and so on.

I think this statement is supposed to be relating to the probability of winning something on any given bet, and not necessarily the expected value of the bet.

For example, your probability of winning when betting on black is higher than betting on 12 (playing roulette). But you EV is still the same (or close).

I think roulette is an exception in that it lets you bet with fairly low odds of winning. Most other games (BJ, Slots, etc..) keep the odds of winning something closer to 50-50 on each transaction.

I agree that having projects weighted high would benefit those who got unfair levels of help. That's probably the main reason it isn't done already.

Maybe that could be helped by the author's suggestions on how to make the written tests better. Or by having timed programming exercises as part of the test.

I really enjoyed reading this. I liked the writing style, and the mood of the pictures gave the story a good feeling to it.

I think it's the combination of the top and bottom bar that make the site feel a little weird for me.

What if it got lost in the mail and never delivered? Is the reciever responsible for that?

It seems like if they are amending your contract, the sender should at least need proof that the reciever got the notice and has agreed (snail mail with signature required, phone call, email with link to website, etc..)

I got the link off here a while ago, and listen to earbits for electronic music. earbits.com has around 40 different sub-genres of electronic music (they also have non-electronic genres with tons of sub-genres as well).

This assumes that the person inside the diner/cafe is nice enough to come out and move their car at exactly 30 min. If he is getting food, he could end up just leaving the car in the charging spot for an extra 15-30 minutes while he finishes up.

I think these local-minded startups are great. Hopefully people doing them in bigger markets will pave the way for this to be feasible in a smaller market like mine.

One note about your site - please don't make me hunt for the page that tells me how the service works. Move the FAQ link to the top.

This is neat. I like the advice that you give when the pictures are bad, but it took me a little while to get from "this picture is OK, but kind of blurry" to a good one. I guess I can't expect to pick up a SLR and get a good one on my first try!
