I understand what you pay for is what you get as I have outsourced Webapps before.
The idea is to get something out there, learn the process, how to market it, ect. Take what I've learned and apply it to another one, reinvesting profits as I go a long.
I'm in the US..and am a single founder. I figured since I was in the US and since my service is offered over the internet I shouldn't have to do anything special. I just see an opportunity in going beyond the US.
If anyone else knows some solid facts on this I would appreciate it!
I'm in NH too and run a very small niche app. I've got about 100 people using mine after 3 months. this is with very little marketing.
I was surprised at how difficult it was to get people to understand the benefits of my app, especially when it was for a very specific need. But once people understand they are more then willing to give it a try.
We are currently working on version 2.0 based on customer feedback and hope to finish/begin marketing the new version by the end of summer.
Let me know if you would ever want to meet up, its hard to find fellow web entrepreneurs in NH!
As far as skills, my current site is built in ASP.NET/SQL Server, but we may be looking to convert to PHP in the future, anyone interested should have knowledge of both.
Our current goal is to start adding features based on the customer feedback we have gathered over a couple of months and create a better landing page. We also have several other apps we would like to build out at some point.
Feel free to shoot me an email with you qualifications, examples of work, hrly rate, ect and we can talk in further detail.
Thanks!
