I have to force myself to only check my phone at certain times, and ensure that I don't use it too often. Ever since I have enabled night mode on my iPhone I find myself less distracted and getting better sleep. I also put apps like instagram, snapchat inside folders on a different page so they are always out of my sight.
I can't help but draw parallels between this story and Flowers for Algernon. It's just sad to see such a young brilliant mind be broken down by this disease.
I wasn't expecting him to be diagnosed with FTD, I will admit that reading the first part of the article painted a very different picture of what might be causing his issues.
Also, since he had a heart condition, I wonder if for some reason that might have accelerated his condition?
Instead of having a dropdown list menu for choosing frequency, it would be nice to spread them out. Like a normal list, or 4 types of buttons. Or you can also add a plus button which might bring a popup asking the frequency type too.
I am sure its affecting you internet speed, what sorts of tasks are you generally doing now that the entire is state is pretty much on lockdown?
Here in Alberta, although we are told be socially distant, there is no full lockdown and I want to know what kind of issues would I be expecting to run into in the up coming weeks/months?
There might be a lot of reasons, and I am sure there would have weighed all their options and gone with this decision.
This would not only raise eyebrows, but eventually the truth will come out. Put yourself in the shoes of a buyer, if you were buying out Sequoia's shares and after a few weeks/months news came out that they only sold their shares because of this. Not only that, but that Finix is pretty much competing with Stripe, which they have no chance of succeeding at, it would tarnish Sequoia's reputation and also open them up to litigation. As someone else in this thread pointed, $21 Million is a rounding error for them.
edit: couldn't wait until I got home so I found a solution for mac users. You can use this[0] package to load screensavers from urls.
I just checked my own off-facebook activity and I am blown away at just how much information is available on me. They have a fairly concise list of all the websites that I have visited in the past month, none of which I used facebook for logging in.

I think there is also a firefox addon by the same developer.
Compared to business or even some engineering classes it was pure cut-throat. So, it's always refreshing to see stories like this, restores my faith in humanity.
