The motor and drivetrain is significantly less complex than an engine. A Tesla has a dozen moving parts in the drivetrain. Your gas car has thousands. Not only does a Tesla not have fuel injectors, it doesn't have a fuel pump, or spark plugs, or valves, or piston rings or pistons or connecting rods or rod bearings or a cam shaft... The electric powertrain is magnitudes simpler.

The music companies would be shooting themselves in the foot. Free streaming is a lot easier than pirating, and for a lot of people pirating will be easier than paying.

I found it interesting that all of the rendering is done server side. If you turn your phone into airplane mode, the app no longer works. I suppose it makes sense -- a server provides more flexibility in how you do the heavy lifting (is it in fact a neural network?).

What makes you sure of this? Does something in their execution thus far indicate "little to no understanding of what they need or how to improve their product"? To me it seems quite the opposite, so I'm curious what you are seeing.

I understand where you're coming from, but this is a usability nightmare. Which cookies will other tabs in the same window have? If you open another instance of email, which account will be signed in? How do you indicate which profile is in each tab?

Separating profiles into windows drastically simplifies the situation.

I don't disagree with you that 3D Touch is rather undiscoverable. However, Apple have provided guidance that 3D Touch should only be used as a "preview" of an action -- never to reveal new behavior unavailable in other places. We all think of it as right click, but Apple's guidance is very much against the notion.

It's possible -- unlikely, I think, but possible -- that 3D Touch will alleviate some of the concerns in this article. 3D Touch should ideally provide a preview of an action -- quite useful in a world without undo.
