We would like to share the final report from an NSF-funded workshop tasked with creating a vision for computing education for the next 15 years. The report, entitled Piecing Together the Next 15 Years of Computing Education is available from our website for the workshop: https://cerfutureworkshop.wpcomstaging.com/final-report/

We hope that the report and the questions and challenges it raises spurs discussion within the SIGCSE community and within Computer Science Departments as to how we can shape the future of our discipline.

If you are a computing education researcher, we hope that the ideas can inspire directions for future work within the discipline.

In addition to this final report, the website contains a series of preliminary reports (https://cerfutureworkshop.wpcomstaging.com/summary-of-outcom...) and podcasts (https://cerfutureworkshop.wpcomstaging.com/podcasts/) to dig deeper into the issues raised during our workshop.

Thanks, Adrienne Decker & Mark Weiss PIs and workshop organizers
