I think beside familiar PostgreSQL enviroment there is not much advantage over SAP HANA. I listed advantages of HANA on my posting https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6466222

SAP HANA would be a better option than Redshift. You can get cloud version of HANA. It support R, JavaScript, ArgGIS and more SQL data types.

I respect RHEL/CentOS but for ease of use (packaging system,vast amount of packages, easy upgrades) I prefer Ubuntu/Debian for my server and desktop.

Some of them are also valid for all kind of consulting business also.

We need objective comparisons to promote PostgreSQL.

These will be web startups. Main problem for enterprises is lack of support from enterprise applications (ERP,CRM..) like SAP.
