cellular··on Healthy soil is the hidden ingredient
I am terraforming my limestone rocky terrain using leaves.

I believe they have trace minerals and the grub larve eat the oak leaves and poop amazing soil.

I now have 6" of black soil with earthworms!

This is in dry central Texas. Moisture helps microbial/fungal life. Leaves retain moisture.

Another key ingredient is pressure/compaction of leaves.

I have results on my YouTube channel: theRainHarvester

If this was a regression, could a binary search be done on check-ins? Or is the code too distributed?

And Why can't gravity serve as an observer?!

The electron/proton entering a slit is affected by gravity!

Yes, exactly, code is easier to edit!

I use "projection" in openscad to directly create SVGs that i can import into GatorCAM for CNC.

cellular··on Why the weak nuclear force is short range
I don't think electric force is necessarily shorter distance than gravity.

But electric charges cancel out each other over big regions, while gravity never cancels.

cellular··on Why the weak nuclear force is short range
In my gravity simulations, on my YouTube, i found the short weak force distance was the same needed to avoid opposite charges from gaining so much speed that the next iteration's position wouldn't slow the electron down after passing the proton!

Imagine my surprise!!

We might live in a simulation!

Everywhere i worked we had drivers running well before silicon came back.

We used simulators for hardware. Using parts of existing hardware when possible and hacked Microsoft sw emulation to behave as our hardware would.

When the hardware came back, it was less than a day to get the driver running.

I wish they kicad footprints were easier to find/modify/maintain.

I modified some its hard to reuse them in other designs. They get saved in places with lots of extra files and I'm not sure how to merge with other designs.

"GatorCAM for CNC" is currently priced very low, $12, with free upgrades even later after it goes to $400+.

I'm the author and I'm trying to get it into makers tool kit:

Very user friendly. Tab support, v-bit, ATC, sorts toolpaths for faster carving.

Definitely! I made some too:

cellular··on A Spacetime Surprise: Time Isn’t Just Another Dimension
In my mind, it simply can't go faster because you get fastest speed already, with light.

Just consider that you have this object, light, that will always travel at the fastest speed possible. You can approach that speed. But throwing light in front of you can not increase light's speed.

cellular··on A Spacetime Surprise: Time Isn’t Just Another Dimension
Personally, I think every object can move 1 quantum unit every tick of the universe.

If all the motion of surrounding objects is in one direction only, then no time passes.

cellular··on A Spacetime Surprise: Time Isn’t Just Another Dimension
This perspective you mention is exactly why I made a video on the subject: https://youtu.be/A-2XQQDD6QQ

It seems so simple to me now!

cellular··on A Spacetime Surprise: Time Isn’t Just Another Dimension
I agree! Time is emergent. It is only comparing one thing moving relative to another thing. Without anything moving relative to each other, time can't exist:

cellular··on A Spacetime Surprise: Time Isn’t Just Another Dimension
I gave up the idea of time being a dimension long ago.

It allows me to think in ways others do not.

I made a video on a different way about thinking time slows near the speed of light:

cellular··on Carmakers want to ditch battery packs, use auto bodies for energy storage
Just connect the airbag sensor to a resiStor load to dump the charge upon an impact. Pretty simple really.
cellular··on Quantum entanglement and the non-orientability of spacetime
The way you described it, it seems like it could relay information: If you see an odd value, meet me at Disney world. If you see an even value, meet me at the grand canyon. This way, our persuer won't know where we will meet.
cellular··on How can you make subjective time go slower?
I think both factors contribute. It's why my childhood occupies such a large amount of my mental memories. My brain had more dedication to those years.

cellular··on Creality Developing Belt-Driven Desktop 3D Printer
But the belt only moves forward, never backwards, in the video. So I thought the slicer would need to change.

A one-way belt also wouldn't have as much problems with adhesion, or backlash that you mentioned with a two-way belt.

Also, the nozzle moves in the Z direction (not just x). Actually the Z direction is really a little z and a little y.

cellular··on Creality Developing Belt-Driven Desktop 3D Printer
I don't print so I can't say for sure but I think path consistency is key for high quality, strong, low tolerance parts.

In-fill might have a weak point if not done consistently.

I'll let someone with experience verify, or add to my inexperienced opinion...

But also, only 1 motor instead of 2 (1 for z and 1 for belt). Ie 1 axis = more stiff.

cellular··on Creality Developing Belt-Driven Desktop 3D Printer
Is "nozzle weep" just extra plastic that hardens on the nozzle?

Can a printer do a clean nozzle function every so often, like the ink jets, to clean off the nozzle?

cellular··on Creality Developing Belt-Driven Desktop 3D Printer
Oops, my reply is above.
cellular··on Creality Developing Belt-Driven Desktop 3D Printer
I suppose you could although the print path might be discontinuous.

Think of printing an 8' long rectangle that is 2 layers high.

If you print diagonally, the cross section is always the same.

If you print on a level, you get the 8' length divided into smaller sections that are pieced together. The cross sections are not equal.
