Of course there are counter-examples on both sides. But Stranahan's (no longer micro) and Leopold Bros. are two examples of great micro-whiskeys from Colorado. If I were so inclined, I could recklessly extrapolate from that anecdote to reach the opposite conclusion as the article does.
Right now it just uses the Github API to let you pair on a GH repo by putting /github/user/repo in the app's URL.
It's a Rails 3 app.
I think the face vs. desktop thing should be A/B tested. It could go either way.
Is the real dynamic here one of peer-pressured purchases? Or is it more subtle than that?
